I would have thought most would have seen him play quite a few times for spurs and Fulham, (albeit on tv) so not exactly an unknown entity. 1 Quote

Looking at his career he seems to have only averaged playing around 50% of games a season until his most recent club Hamburg where he was a regular starter. Quote

Guest Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 By estimated driving times, Holtby will be arriving at Brockhall pretty soon, within the next half hour. Hope they announce it today. Quote
MarkBRFC Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Or he could be on his way to Leeds.... Quote

1864roverite Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 is he still following BRFC or has there been any other clubs on his profile? Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 He still follows us on twitter. As this was a recent action, surely that means hes on his way to us? Whether he joins is a different story. 1 Quote

1864roverite Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Why follow Rovers if he is joining Huddersfield or Leeds? Or anyone else ? He has no link to Ewood other than what has been reported and the fact he was training with us pre season? I agree with your comment about whether he will join us though. 2 Quote
Lancs Rover Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 He's a big character on and off the field..Takes his football really seriously. A big competitor. But also plays with a smile on his face. Enjoys his football. See HSV fans' efforts to keep him signed. Played in the famous HSV game a couple of years ago when they won in the play-off with the last kick of the season to keep them up. They were the only team to have played in every Bundesliga season up to that point. Never relegated. The equivalent of Arsenal staying in the Premier League by the skin of their teeth. The man was ecstatic. An on-form, up-for-it Holtby will be a massive addition to the squad. He's a Mowbray man. Run through a brick wall for the cause. If he believes in it. (The less said about last season the better - for all HSV fans. Sacking managers left, right and centre - They changed managers three times a season for three seasons in a row. The whole of German football laughing at the way they were run- and you thought we were bad!! ?). Welcome to Rovers, Lewis. #nurderHSV COYB 6 Quote
JBiz Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Can anyone qualify if he can be registered to play prior to January? If he comes that is. Quote
