Roverinbelfast Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 League 1 player, out of his depth, Mowbrays favourite... Lol Well done arma, super goal Quote
frosty Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Get in! Going 1 up early away from home has led to some miserable results since we got promoted, pray for today to be different. COYB 1 Quote

Plus he plays for us and thats the main thing 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted September 21, 2019 Backroom Posted September 21, 2019 There weren't many (any?) posts in AA's defence pre-match so fair to assume everybody was a little down on him based on his recent performances as of late. Scoring and contributing in general will quickly silence the criticisms so let's hope there's more where that came from. 2 Quote
Amo Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 He wouldn't have scored if no one had dissed him. True facts. 1 Quote
superniko Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I’ve been a vocal critic, but more than happy to be proved wrong if he can start banging them in. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Ooof Reading got away with that one, never a foul by Dack there Quote
bluebruce Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Just read in the LT pre match buildup that Rothwell is injured and that's 'why he isn't in the starting lineup'. Hah, good one LT, I'm sure that's the only reason. We seem to be playing decent anyway. Quote

Lol Well done arma, super goal If he delivers this stuff more consistent, then great! But so far he hasn't, let's hope he kick starts. But half of the criticism should be directed against TM, Armstrong isn't a target man, as he should be when we play with a lone striker. So in my view he is used wrongly. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 It's been a good half, but Reading are definitely starting to build some pressure. Just need to see this through to half time. Quote
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 H/T Mowbray 1 Everyone Else 0 Whodathunk Evans would be player of the half and Arma score a belter. Been on top so far; Walton spent the half in his deckchair. 1 Quote
Husky Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 The last few minutes of the half certainly had a bit of the Bristol City aways about it. Quote
Blueandwhitemike Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Very good first half, could be more than one. First half hour Armstrong looked a different player and Evans was everywhere, both players showing what they are capable of, hope they keep it up second half. Could have been more than one and we looked a real threat on the counter. Reading came into it more, especially in the last ten minutes. Gallagher has done well as have most players. We really need to be back on it at the beginning of the second half, if we are we can win this, perhaps even comfortably. Quote
