G Somerset Rover Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Just not going to happen is it. As others have said, why has Holtby come on so late? Quote
SoldierMo Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Forrest have been useless this league is there for the taking but our boring ass manager wont let us go for it aaaargh 4 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) What was Walton doing time wasting there?! FFS. Downing, Holtby class above. Dack was sh*te bar that pass. Gallagher needs to either play in a 2 or not at all. He’s becoming as big a problem as Brereton. Just the £12 million spent on those 2, so no bother. W-D-L. The Mowbray way. Mr. E Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) TM continues to not know his best team and we continue losing points because of that. Simple as. Edited October 1, 2019 by Mr. E 1 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Frustrating, as always. We're just not creating enough. Quote
AdamRochina Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 two very winnable games, 1 point, fuck off mowbray you dinosaur 2 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) I'll take it I suppose. But we really arnt going to go anywhere with boring Tony. Holtby & Rothwell to start next game. Surely? Gallagher deserves to be dropped but he most defiantly won't! Edited October 1, 2019 by BankEnd Rover Quote
jim mk2 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Barely October and it's clear as day the club's dead in the water and going nowhere except stuck in the middle. At least Tony's pension fund is doing well... 1 Quote
Amo Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Rothwell, Chapman and Holtby to start the next game. Ahhh... Who am I kidding? 1 Quote

garnersfags Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Reasonable point. Holtby will be the player of the season, but his class will be cancelled out by Mowbray's misguided desperation to mould Gallacher and Samuel into the next SAS or Gestede & Rhodes. Stubborn n clueless. But at least we're not going down... 1 Quote
CD_93 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) Holtby has got to start. Rothwell has got to start. Edited October 1, 2019 by CD_93 7 Quote
booth Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 21 shots, 6 on target. Similar to weekend. Stating the obvious but we need a striker. Quote

Dreams of 1995 Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Holtby is another level of a player ain’t he? Not seen class like that on a ball for a lot of years in a rovers strip. He just has that zip about him that all good players do. Him, Dack and Rothwell need more minutes on the pitch together. That said, Downing looked a better player when he was on to. They all did. Holtby has to start 3 Quote
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Were the better team, deserved to win. Travis and Downing ran the game. Bennett looked solid. Quote
superniko Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 That was a frustrating 90 minutes. The 3 points were there for the taking. We just do not have enough quality in the team to mount any kind of challenge to the top 6. I’m a supporter of Tony, but my patience is running thin. He has his favourites and he can’t see past them. I’m starting to think he’s holding us back from any progression. Holtby looked good when he came on. Samuel couldn’t even start for me in L1, why the hell is he getting game time when we’re meant to be challenging in the Championship? Finally, little gripe but Walton looked like he was settling for 1-1 the time he took on some goal kicks at the end. 1 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 The most frustrating thing we will all see next game is Holtby & Rothwell on the bench. Its just going to happen. It will be impossible for Mowbray to start both. They have just too much excitement. Quote
LDRover Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Holtby looks a class above the rest of the plodders in blue and white. Rothwell gives us someone who will run at the heart of the opposition. Both need to be the first names on the team sheet from now on but TM will stay risk averse and give them the odd ten minutes. 1 Quote
