CambridgeRover Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I know I have said it 4 times today but why not make it five Get the old dinosaur out of our fucking club Give me Damien Johnson. Have some faith in him 1 Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Another season of middling around then. Rebuild next season cos of Lack of competent LB, keeper on loan, weak CB, nyambe’s getting sold, oldies Johnson, Graham and Downing, lack of goal scorer. Phew, spewing hell this afternoon. then, I Guess add another season after next of bedding in and such. Not much hopes of going up anytime soon.. 1 Quote
matt83 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 With all this alleged talent we are relying on bell, Evans and Bennett. They play more often than not Rovers lose. It’s that simple. Holtby and Johnson sat on the bench. 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 We are a complete non entity. Mowbray out. 2 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 5, 2019 Backroom Posted October 5, 2019 As bad as it gets? Hate to say it but the international break is perfect time for a managerial hunt 2 Quote
Gary C Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Nothing more to say. Another poor performance badly picked team and tactics. Going backwards not forward. A change is required 1 Quote

Sorry to see the boys and TM repay you like this following an expensive day out. I’d avoid his post match presser if I were you as it’ll only compound matters. Get a few more beers down you. 2 Quote
bluebruce Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I think the amount of bodies and limited room in the QPR box when we attack, versus the acres of space and handful of players defending when they attack us, tells the whole story. And it's not just in this game. 1 Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 TM has warned us, didn’t he. He said Wells and Hugill are dangerous and it would be a tough match 3 Quote
Miller11 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Give it Souness til the end of the season. If for no other reason than at least he might crack a few of their pathetic heads on the training ground. An Armstrong consolation is just depressing as it justifies playing the lazy, greedy little twerp going forward. 4 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Huddersfield 3 up in preparation for us. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Rovers to make it 4-3 before losing 5-3 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I blame Mercer, just as Armstrong secures his starting place Quote
Husky Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 QPR are really rubbish. They are panicking.? Quote

Imagine him on the training ground with Arma, Brereton, Evans, Bell and co poncing around. He’d be behind bars. Edited October 5, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! 4 Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 On the basis of this match alone, Rothwell and Graham haven’t justified their starting spots. Evans too Quote
rovers11 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Horrific performance and result. I’m afraid top 6 teams do not lose 4-2 away to QPR, another season of mediocrity beckons. Very concerning day. Quote

pentelrobot Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 After eleven games last season, we had 15 points. This season we have 14 points after eleven games. Progress? Arguably, we have better players this season, but they are not being used properly or played in their correct positions-or they are not inspired by the manager. As many have said previously, we are grateful to TM for turning the club's fortunes around, but all managers have a shelf life and TM has reached his sell by date. 9 Quote

I know he can be frustrating with his end product, but most of our players don't get to those sorts of positions to be squandering an end product in the first place. He's inconsistent but that pace is always a potential threat. And he's not lazy, sick of hearing that. Not a perfect player by any means, or our best, but I really don't see why he is getting so much flak. Especially during a goalscoring run. There are so many more appropriate scapegoats who should be getting it in the neck instead. Agree a Souness type would be good, not Souness himself though anymore.
