Their equaliser was a gut-punch but the decisions made by our manager stifled any drive or momentum we had and if anything, left us more vulnerable to losing the game. Yes and our subs had the opposite effect that Huddersfield’s had Quote

Darwen Rover 007 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Positives.. 1st half (apart from 1st ten mins) Tosin / Nyambe / Downing / Travis / Holtby / Dack Negative.. 2nd half Compounded by Mowbray inspired substitutions, I mean what the.. Walton - Serious downgrade on Raya, we need an experienced GK asap Johnson, clearly has class but come on Gallagher - pointless just.. touch of a pregnant elephant Pfffttttttttt so frustrating, this team has so much potential Quote
Sparks Rover Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 See the Huddersfield unused lads warming down on the pitch after the game. Where are our unused subs?? Probably in the bar Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Anyone who thinks Mowbray should stay hasn't a clue. We are moving no where with him. 7 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 19, 2019 Backroom Posted October 19, 2019 Our casual nature winds me up, Gallagher trotting into the box, Walton every week in injury time in no rush at all 4 Quote

Bbrovers2288 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 When was the last time we got a late winner? Quote

League One days I think it was. Really disappointing in the end after an encouraging first half. The subs made us worse. Gallagher and Evans on? Taking Holtby and Travis off at the same time? We’re just drifting aimlessly. It’s frustrating and boring to be honest. 1 Quote
davefarnworth Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 We still have decent players despite the injuries. It's a poor division. We need a positive manager. Mowbray spouting crap on Sky right now. Walk you t__t Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 I think we are united in the opinion that 'Mr Dull' is not utilising this squad to its full ability, nothing seems to change. 1 Quote
Cherry Blue Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Mowbray's a complete fool. Baffled everyone by taking MOM Holtby off. This team needs managing correctly and until we get rid of Mowbray the trap door will get closer and closer. 2 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Usual sleepy non passionate interview from mowbray f off f off f offfffffff should be absolutely slamming the pen and the ref. God he is a turgid manager. Getting Into bowyer territory now, there is so many better options out there Quote
Crimpshrine Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Their manager adjusted his team and tactics sensibly throughout the game and they became the better team as the match progressed. Our manager let a very promising position slip away by being out-manoevered by a relative novice. Mowbray just admitted himself in the SKY interview "they wrestled the game away from us". Very downbeat interview 1 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 (edited) The keeper is absolutely useless for me. That's two home games where he's cost us the points recently, he also went down in Installments for the Forest equaliser and with Raya in nets that's two saves that are meat and drink for him and two games we win imo. Really hope we don't sign Walton permanently. Other than that with Dack and Holtby on the pitch I saw signs of hope and promise for the first time under Mowbray, our play was far more fluid and creative than normal. That was ruined by the substitutions which were progressively worse. Thought Nyambe was outstanding and showed us what we've been missing at RB. Conversely Bennett is an absolute liability wherever he plays and we're always going to struggle if he is selected to start. Edited October 19, 2019 by RevidgeBlue 2 Quote
booth Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Usual interview from Mowbray winging it helped by the shite managers phrasebook. Sounded like a man pre-occupied with someone stealing his unguarded pint. Quote
bluebruce Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 From the LT: A first goal in Rovers colours for Lewis Holtby wasn’t enough to inspire his side to a home win Inspire a win? Hell, it wasn't even enough to keep him on the pitch! Even with an assist and being excellent throughout. 3 Quote

Popular Post Wegerleswiggle Posted October 19, 2019 Popular Post Posted October 19, 2019 Positives Dack and Holtby's combination play. Nyambe looking more dangerous in 45 minutes going forward than Bennett all season. Adarabayio being able to travel with the ball rather than hopelessly hoofing it upfield. Negatives Tony Mowbray and his managerial style!!! Tony Mowbrays substitutions. Tony Mowbrays dull and couldn't give a flying f##k interview after the game. The fact that Tony Mowbray will be in charge for our next game. 10 Quote

Spankus Munky Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Time for Leutwiler to be given the gloves until January when we can get a proper keeper in. Walton has had his chance and shown absolutely nothing to persevere with especially as he isn't our player. Gallagher is a plodder and should be nowhere near the 18 on a matchday. All that money spent in the summer and the only 2 who have done anything for us are a couple of freebies ? Quote
JacknOry Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 (edited) Holtby and Travis off was just bemusing for me. Especially at the same time. Travis was on a booking yes so could understand if he was hooked. Holtby was everywhere, was so inteligent and it was a joy to see him spraying his passes around. Do not understand why he has this slowly, slowly approach when introducing some players. First few games sub, finally gets a start and is best player ont he pitch and gets hooked. Great first half Poor second half The reasons why we didn't get all 3 points is a piss poor referring decision and a bloddy awful mistake by our keeper. Not. Good. stinny1 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 TM is so negative yet again Bennett gives a silly penalty away .Dack went missing in secound half , Travis and Holtby where taken off why, Rothwell should have come on for Downing . Gallagher might has well have been in my front room watching rovers on sky . Keeper not good enough no one prepared to get stuck in for second goal he waltz round three and hits it through the keeper . ITS CRAP TM OUT Quote
Cherry Blue Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 We can complain about the refs every game, and in all probability there are many that went to the same school, but at the end of the day its bad management that's taking us back to league one. MOWBRAY OUT! 1 Quote
