Really dopey and a daft foul anywhere on the pitch. Looked to me like his leg only was out because it was kicked. That said Armstrong was the worst on the pitch by a country mile. He just looked dis interested and lazy and that is inexcusable. Yet he managed to come out for the 2nd half and will get picked next time. I would have yanked him at the half and out Rothwell on, 60 minutes Danny G for Sam G and Evans? never, not when one goal down. Quote

And just how did you hope to prey on that with Corry Evans. Don't make me Laff ToMo, you wanna give me a giggle? Just walk. Quote

We've gone from one of the best owners in football to a group of the worst. I saw Preston fans saying they couldn't understand us moaning because Venky's gave us 12m to spend on strikers. Mike Ashley has spent a lot more than £12m but I'm sure none of them would be happy to see him take over at nob end. Even when Rovers had no money it felt like a proper football club ran by people with enthusiasm and do the best for the club. Now it seems success is measured by whether the manager is able to buy mediocre young players and sell them on at a profit if they turn out to be any good. Winning football matches or promotion is secondary. The ghost of Kean/Anderson still hangs over the club like a pair of scooby doo villiain rejects. That's the feeling there's been all along under Venkys it seems the happiness and pockets of players and agents plus some managers etc comes first. Points come second and as long as you follow whims, spend money certain ways, look after certain people and of course constantly blow smoke up the owners then it's fine. They've enough money turnover to pay for it all and not bother, meanwhile the belief keeps slowly ebbing away and the fanbase keeps shrinking. As for lillyliver fans i'm sure they'd be over the moon if their manager spent fees totalling their clubs entire income for a year on the players our lot have. Then again he'd probably have a job in mind for them and get a tune out of them, our owners aren't bothered as long as someone they like tells them they'll get the money back plus profit. Doubt they care if that even happens that's part of their fun i think. Crazy stuff. Quote

Or maybe the players too when they're spouting rubbish about momentum. Fed up of insipid, toothless performances. Fans have paid a fortune to watch Rovers away this season and nearly every game they've been garbage. 2 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 11, 2019 Moderation Lead Posted November 11, 2019 Amazing that given the key passes, pass accuracy and shots on target stats from the Leeds game, that people still get mugged off by us apparently playing better football. The worst thing is, nobody at the LT will pull the manager up on it either. 2 Quote
