Stop being pedantic i'm saying as are some others that there was not that many more actual PAYING home fans in Ewood yesterday than 30 years ago.

You are refusing to acknowledge taking away 1000 complimentary ST's, the ones who didn't turn up and the free tickets handed out for yesterdays game. Plus the away fans, in probability that adds up to over 3k so not that many more in there.  But Blackburn is a place that often bucks national trends as a whole so not surprising really.
