davulsukur Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Raya's distribution has significantly improved since leaving Rovers. When he was here, he had arguably the worst in the division. Quote

Tugay-is-God Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Well deserved man of the match for Rothwell there, by far his best performance of the season 2 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 We only when we have 30% possession. Quote
benhben Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Brereton is a Gangly thing..doesnt look at all like a footballer. Midfield (in Evan's to be fair) have worked hard all game. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Great win, great performance. Fantastic! Quote
Wegerleswiggle Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 6 points from the play offs. We're gonna do a Villa. 3 Quote
AdamRochina Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 We are such a weird side..back to back wins ..woo woo Quote
Backroom DE. Posted November 27, 2019 Backroom Posted November 27, 2019 Fantastic result, and a clean sheet to boot. Can't ask for much more than that. Gutted that Nyambe picked up an injury and hope it's not serious. Rothwell must start on Saturday. Can't imagine DG will after playing almost the entire game tonight - get the feeling we might see Brereton. That or Armstrong or Dack will play up top with Holtby coming into the attacking midfield. 1 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Excellent result. I hope Tony has a think about his team selection. Good to hear Joe R played well. 1 Quote
philipl Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Shows what a stinker Mowbray has been having this season so far. 4 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Funny game tonight. Great result. Pros Rothwell fabulous with and without the ball, and the system really suited him. Dack, Armstrong, Evans all played very well. We dominated the second ball, and our blocking and last ditch defending was great Some really good passing moves. All our players passed well. The centreback pair were fantastic in both their defending and their distribution Cons Still looked like we will concede any time anyone gets near our area Fullbacks clearly weak, we were just quite lucky they didn't target them Graham looked absolutely shattered after 40 mins I know he only got about 7 mins but Brereton still looks awful We carved out four absolutely golden chances but could only put one of them away. All in all really nice game to watch and really pleasing to win. But not really convincing it has to be said. 5 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Same 11 for Saturday surely? Come on Mowbray don't let us down. 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted November 27, 2019 Backroom Posted November 27, 2019 (edited) By ratio 4 shots on target out of 7 might be the best we've had all season. Edited November 27, 2019 by DE. 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted November 27, 2019 Backroom Posted November 27, 2019 EFL on Quest is on at 10.30 tonight btw. Quote
matt83 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Just now, DE. said: By ratio 4 shots on target out of 7 might be the best we've had all season. That’s 3 games worth of shots by usual standards. 1 Quote
Husky Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 The team that was picked tonight was basically one most fans would have chosen, given what's available - kind of how a stopped clock is right 1 time in every 24, it was Tony's Tombola's Turn Tonight. Here's to the 3 points and the alliteration. 1 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Get in lads, shows that we can play when allowed. Was a bit squeaky bum time towards the end but their clear openings were kept at a minimum. Still don’t want mowbray but not the night for it tonight, will enjoy the win. nice to see a warm reception to raya from players and fans, shows we aren’t the cold hearted club some media say we are Quote
Backroom Tom Posted November 27, 2019 Backroom Posted November 27, 2019 Bloody brilliant After Saturday it was said it’s all about the points, today I felt the level of performance was as important A totally different beast from Saturday like the shackles were off Evans; Tosin, Lenihan, Rothwell, Downing and Nyambe all superb Not to be negative but the striker issue is pressing, Graham is done 3 Quote
Hasta Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 (edited) Nyambe at full back. Bennet out. Graham starting. Rothwell starting. Armstrong not upfront on his own. Gallagher not wasting a position out wide. All things Mowbray has been consistent criticised for not doing and surprise, surprise clean sheet, good performance and a win. Rohwell was outstanding and it appears you can play him and Dack together and still work hard and win the ball in midfield. Same team at Stoke unless we have to switch Nyambe though injury. Rothwell and Armstrong will be a nightmare on the break. Hopefully one will find some end product. Excellent. Edited November 27, 2019 by Hasta 1 Quote
Lihamylly Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 (edited) 37/63 possession and 7 vs 16 in goal attemps and like against Barnsley, we were the home team. Our new strategy is to be sneaky bastards? ? Edited November 27, 2019 by Lihamylly 1 Quote
