Roverthechimp Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 (fully expect injuries to Lenihan and Tosin today given our lack of defenders on the bench but i am a cynical, miserable so and so... ?) Quote

Its okay, I am getting my pre-match moaning fix from the Derby forums: Well that looks a truly awful team on paper !! No balance at all. Bogle looked lost last week when he played right wing and we only have Martin who can hold the ball up and he's not playing ?? Oh well just hope Cocu knows what he is doing ????????? 1 Quote

Stuart Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 18 minutes ago, WIR Second Coming said: Rovers: Walton, Nyambe, Adarabioyo, Lenihan (c), Downing, Travis, Evans, Armstrong, Dack, Rothwell, Graham. Substitutes: Leutwiler, Johnson, Gallagher, Brereton, Holtby, Bennett, Buckley. Derby County: Hamer, Wisdom, Forsyth, Bielik, Dowell, Waghorn, Lawrence, Holmes, Davies (c), Bogle, Malone. Substitutes: Roos, Marriott, Evans, Martin, Lowe, Knight, Whittaker. Great news about the starting XI. Our lack of defensive cover from the bench though shows how important January is. 2 Quote

Nah, he deserves his spot right now after his last performances. Thats how it should be. Their shirts to lose. Put a couple of below par performances in and you risk losing your place. 1 Quote
Husky Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 For the neutral you could hardly get more mid-table miss the game. 11th v 14th. For us it seems that hope is building and we all know what that means. 4 points off the play-offs. I'm not sure if that's close enough for the major bottle out just yet - that might have to wait until midweek. . . . or. . . . . 1-1. ? Quote

Yeh and we only have Cunningham and Williams injured, to be reduced to that. We also technically have a winger in the starting defence (done well though). Is Bell injured, or has Tony just had enough of him? 1 Quote
AggyBlue Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Nearly dusted the season ticket off for this one but have decided to wait until the Wigan game. Can't wait to get back down to Ewood. COYB. Quote
Gary C Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Bells warming up on pitch as I arrived so must be on bench Quote
bluebruce Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 I feel like today is important for more reasons than the norm. I fear that losing will bring out the tinker man again, whereas winning could hopefully cement the notion of a stable side in his head. 1 Quote

JacknOry Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Ahh, feels just like home "Someone should have told Cocu not to open his team picking roulette until after Christmas. Dowell? why? what's happened to Bird being unused on the bench at Fulham, Sibley, Knight etc? This is becoming a nonsense. Talk about tinkerman." 3 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Hamer is a good shot stopper but terrible when put under pressure - need to get Graham close to him today and get plenty of crosses in. Quote
Wegerleswiggle Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Looking quite lively. Dack looks up for it. 1 Quote
skous18 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 All Rovers so far. Dack and Evans up for it Quote

philipl Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Pitch looking heavy and sticky, not slick in this rain. Good chance for Dack there. Quote
