SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Great win....nose bleed time for Rovers fans!! 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 7, 2019 Backroom Posted December 7, 2019 (edited) Another great result, and another clean sheet. Amazing what a little consistency in team selection and playing people in their actual positions does. A shame we wasted the first few months of the season with nonsense selections but it is what it is. The penny seems to have dropped for the time being at least. Derby didn't have a single shot on target. We only had three but at least we made one of them count. Rovers 1-0 Derby Spurs 5-0 Dingles QPR 2-0 Nobbers Bolton 1-2 Wimbledon Luton 1-1 Wigan That's a Saturday I can raise a toast to. Assuming the other results stay like that. Ugh, late equaliser for Bolton. Garbage league. Edited December 7, 2019 by DE. 9 Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Great win. Nervy at the end. Great save at the end from Walton too. Quote
Mr. E Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Sounds like Walton saved us at the death? Quote
bluebruce Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Hooray!! Would have never predicted a bit ago that we were going to embark on a 4 match winning run! Quote

JacknOry Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Very impressed with that. Tosin - Colossal Arma - Superb second half Travis/Evans - Controlled midfield again Nyambe - Warrior and really coming on now in an attacking sense Downing - So bloody intelligent and rarely puts a foot wrong They were the key players for me today. Tosin on that evidence is going to be a top top player. 2 Quote
jim mk2 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 (edited) Hanky stuffed up nose time. And two acid tests coming up - Swansea and Bristol away Brizzle beat Fulham away today. Edited December 7, 2019 by jim mk2 1 Quote
Miker Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Have to say that this was a great win and performance, but Mowbray really made things difficult with his subs. Brings Gallagher on for Graham, but puts him on the right. Brings Bennett on for Rothwell, but puts him at left back and moves Downing further up. Brings the youngest player on the bench for the last 5 minutes when we have a narrow 1-0 lead, rather than someone with a bit more experience like Holtby. 8 Quote

Picking the best players in their favoured positions, a settled line up and formation. The fact it took him so long is another thing but he deserves credit for doing what the average bozo has said all along. We all learn at different speeds. Ya,his signings are the ones doing it though,so surely credit for that? Quote
Husky Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Thank God I got the FT Rovers App notification 5 seconds before the iFollow final whistle. I don't think I would have lasted. 1 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 We were the better team and a deserved win. 1 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Cunningham on iFollow still sounding very much a Rover, nevermind what Neil Harris had to say in the week Quote

Vinjay Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Was that thug there today? Sure he will be a very underwhelming signing as he was for Everton. Quote

bigbrandjohn Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 (edited) Luvly. I hate watching on bbc text when it goes into extra time. FT are two beautiful letters when the score is 1-0 Edited December 7, 2019 by bigbrandjohn Added a word Quote
