Derby County (H) - We couldn't make it four... could we?

Travis is a weak link? Where have you got that idea from? Our central midfield has been absolutely key in our 4 wins, and Evans has rightfully taken the plaudits and has been I would say the better performer but the pair have been very good as a duo.

Well, who is performing worse than him and Rothwell last 2 games? The lads are on about a 7, whereas everyone else is on 8s and 9s.

I'm not saying drop him or anything, just pointing out that certain players seem to get away with more in the fans eyes than others.

Either way, the fans were right and TM was wrong.

This is silly. Not every fan would have made the exact changes he made. Can't go and claim unanimous and self-indulgent credit for the fan base now. Case in point, Evans starting. Graham back in the side wouldn't have been everyone's choice either.  Rothwell is probably the players whose position is most at risk now too, so should maybe Holtby have started? It's not as black and white as the fans were right and Mowbary was wrong. He has gotten the team firing through a combination of factors.

I dont think Travis has been below the standard set by the rest of the team, far from it.

I do think that Travis' ability is ever so slightly overestimated at times, especially his ability on the ball, but hes been very important dovetailing with Evans in these last few games and his performance level has improved so I find your comment a little strange to suggest that he is slightly off the high standards set.

It depends on whether you think it was a coincidence that the fans turned against Barnsley or not. Mowbray was stubborn for over 3 months. Suddenly there is a bit of unrest from the stands, TM is commenting on it in the papers and then most of the changes are made the following game. Had the not happened, would he still have made the changes he did against Brentford? I'm not so sure. He may not have read fans comments on a forum but I'm fairly sure he was aware of their thoughts in general.

Either that or he was left feeling he had to win against Brentford or his job was on the line (either from the owners or from his own comments leaving him with little option). Therefore he went back to what he know worked from last year, play into Graham and try and play off him.

I only turned against TM in the last month, and that was because I didn't believe a manager could take us forward if he could not see and correct such obvious flaws in the team. The recent run has proved I, and others, were correct about those flaws. Long may this run continue, but lets hope if we get injuries or if someone does lose form that he doesn't revert to type as it doesn't work.

I think he must have been aware of the unrest in the support. He'll want to keep the fans on side. How else do you explain the Chapman signing ?

I'm a big fan, it's just he didn't have a great game the weekend. I think he has a huge future. We need players with his drive and attitude

Just watched the extended highlights back again. Downing over playing it played Tosin into trouble early on which nearly led to a Derby goal. Armstrong missed an easier shooting chance than the one he scored from. Good to see Gallagher out muscling a Derby player out on the right to set up Armstrong in front of goal. Was it their kit but some Derby players look like they're carrying a bit of timber. Bielik, who I rate as a top young centre half shouldn't be playing in centre midfield. He looks to have put a stone on since I saw him play last.

The shouts on here to resign him were deafening. So we sign him and he's hardly been near the first team since.

Yes, to RESIGN him, after Mowbray initially signed him when most had not heard of him. He didn't sign him because the fans wanted him to.

As for him not playing, ya an odd one, but we all know about his, ongoing, injury record.
