Oh how I have missed Williams aimless chips forward to no one in particular.

He ant see anything down the left as if he is blind reluctantly will give it wide to downing or rithwell. Only player worth his wages is Danny G

I have said fck off derrick about 6 times so far.

He really is having a mare. Lenihan looks flat footed today too. As everyone is saying, missing Tosin big time. Has Dacky been on the p*ss for the last fortnight too?

Long for the day where there is expectation on us and we perform. Just never, ever happens.

We are trying to put pressure on Wigan when they have the ball, but are getting our passes constantly wrong, and Wigan are putting together some dangerous counters. We're getting pushed out to the flanks and can't break through. Game under Wigan's control at the moment. Williams' passing has been atrocious, some of the worst I have seen, and has almost led to goals. Wigan are out here for a scrap and a fight and we need Johnson on instead of Evans.

Really, really poor half. Embarrassing to play like that against one of the worst teams in the league in front of one of the biggest crowds of the season. A good thing Wigan are shit as well, because any decent team would have put us to the sword by now. The players need to have a word with themselves at half time because that was a million miles away from being acceptable.

rovers as per usual have no fight in them, just plodding around the pitch with aimless passes and shocking attacking play.  really is poor and i dont know how we are 3 points off the top three   we look utterly clueless

Wrong team selected. You need energy and 100% from your team. Graham, Rothwell and Armstrong are passengers.

Well. That's one way to eradicate optimism and any excitement that fans felt before kick off. What a pile of garbage. Completely fallen into Cook's plan of stop any quick transitions by letting Williams and Nyambe start the attacks and neither can pass a ball.

Even downing has been poor

It’s our only tactic other than hoof it to Graham - pass to Downing.

My God that was Conference standard sh*te. Get Johnson on for Evans immediately and Holtby for Rothwell or Armstrong. Gallagher for Graham soon too.

Need to bloody hope Tosin isn’t out for long - Lenihan and in particular Williams have looked woeful.

Terrible 45 minutes, Wigan not much better mind... If this proves anything it's that Tosin needs to play every minute of every game, on crutches if need be. Think we would be well served by Holtby's composure on the ball in the second half, everyone else is currently just hoofing it away or slowly advancing util they run into an opposition defender.

Christ Nyambe and Williams look bottom tier Championship, no composure or confidence at all.

Walton the only player who looks solid, Downing with a few nice balls but nothing else to really shout about from the side.

You'd think we'd have been fired up for this one too with the playoff places far closer than usual...
