Guest Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 We've had Team Of The Decade... We've had Player Of The Decade... and seeing as we all agree on both so clearly (not ) I thought why not throw a spanner in the works with GOAL Of The Decade. Very tough because there's so many to remember and so many easily forgotten. Anybody have any suggestions or favourites? oldjamfan1 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 It has to be Dunny's versus the Dingles in the 97th minute at Ewood surely? 7 Quote

philipl Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Would have been goal of the decade- I give you Ruben Rochina: Quote
MarkBRFC Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Just watched them links back. That 15/16 goal of the season competition is the sorriest goal of the season competition I have ever seen. 1 Quote

We stifled/condemned creativity and instead prefered the slow, safe option. Incredible that we didn't get into the playoffs with that side. For all his doubters, Rochina has gone on to have a really good career. He could've been a massive asset for us if we'd managed him properly. 1 Quote

As much as I miss having him as manager, some of the ones under Big Sam were not much better! Quote

Jason Lowe, now playing for a team sat bottom of League One with two points, shaking his head at Ruben Rochina, now a regular for a mid-table La Liga side. Go on Ruben lad. 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 To be honest, its not about stifling flair and creativity, rabona-ing that shot to create an easy save was an unnecessary waste of a very good attacking position. Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 here is the momentous dunny moment!!!!!!! 6 Quote

I don't disagree with that. But I was framing that in context of Rovers at the time. His decision making could've been improved significantly with coaching. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted December 18, 2019 Backroom Posted December 18, 2019 Emnes V Wigan was a special goal, great ball by Steele then ridiculous control and skill by Emnes 4 Quote
Guest Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Has to be said that in terms of skill to perfect, Corry Evans strike on his debut is one of the most amazing volleys I've seen. It's proper. Shame he can't do it more often. Quote
