savage90 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Well after his performance against Birmingham, Bennett should have been dropped. Likewise Buckley shouldn't have played 81 minutes in that game or what looks like 90 tonight. At least we can go back to being realistic about our season! 13th is about right + 4/5 signings in the summer. Quote

I call him Tony pardew because like Alan he has the same type of matches and runs. come on Venkys pull the trigger he’s taking the piss now. No expectation no want no urgency and it reflects in the stands. Edited December 29, 2019 by Scotland1 Quote
LDRover Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Well I can see why there was such a clamour for Chapman's inclusion..... Quote
Hasta Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 (edited) How come their guy shoots from 30 yards into the top corner, and yet the ineffective Buckley has a clear shot on the edge of the box and tries a daft little through ball. I didn't think any Rovers player could make this performance stink any more than it does, but this Chapman cameo is doing just that. Edited December 29, 2019 by Hasta Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Damn Buckley. Weak as toothpicks. Quote
Exiled in Toronto Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Chapman has been even worse than Rothwell 2 Quote
jim mk2 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Tony’s pension manager isn’t concerned. Nicely positioned in mid table, contract safe and sound 5 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 What's so sad is it's hard to see what we can do to improve. Barring major investment I think we've played all our cards. Somewhat stupidly Huddersfield seem to have started standing off us. Quote
Boroblue Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Just disjointed and disorganised made Huddersfield look good. Quote

Backroom Tom Posted December 29, 2019 Backroom Posted December 29, 2019 Feels almost cruel leaving Buckley on for 90 minutes, looks like a tired child 1 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 No Rovers players deserves more than a 6 rating today. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 No urgency No tempo No threat Thick players and a dinosaur manager Gallagher being wasted on the wing, 5 mill down the drain 2 Quote

Stonesrick Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Thing is - we don’t look bothered. They are all on easy street and that includes the Manager. 4 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Just hope we are down to 10 men or something, at least we have an excuse for this atrocious performance. Quote

AAK Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 (edited) Is anyone surprised? Course we would go on a bad run. We will now lose at forest and lose at home to PNE and wont win until feb. Edited December 29, 2019 by AAK Quote

LDRover Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 We've not laid a glove on them in injury time. This team stinks to high heaven. 2 Quote
