Dolly blue Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 What a shocking display ....no apparent plan, very poor skill level.......dire 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Be nice if we were to ever play well again post Bristol City. Not holding my breathe. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2019 Backroom Posted December 29, 2019 Superb first fifteen minutes followed by a dire thirty minutes where we made countless defensive mistakes and chased shadows for the majority of the half. We started off well with the 4-4-2 but I think we need a change. Huddersfield are getting behind and around us too easily and are having too many chances. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted December 29, 2019 Backroom Posted December 29, 2019 Bennett just gave up tracking Bacuna then Both wingers equally poor I’d be bringing one if not both off Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 What a shite game of football this is. Again. Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Iv got to say, all those clamouring from rothwell must be feeling a bit silly now. Nowhere near the answer. Show pony with no end product and dangerous liability, doesn’t keep the ball well enough, league one player 6 Quote

Rothwell has been completely anonymous so far, barely even heard his name mentioned. Buckley started off well but has faded as the half has gone on. Gallagher and Graham toiling up front but with little to work with. Rothwell has been very poor. Quote
AAK Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Been out missed first 35 mins, from what ive seen in that 10 mins, we look just as we did againt wigan and brum, half the team out of position and lacking any kind of creativity, huddersfield look a better side. Quote

Keepers are going soft too Quote
Miker Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 We’ve been dreadful since the goal. If we could actually string more than 2 passes together we’d walk away with 3 points. 2 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 down to 11th at present. Need to calm it down and get some quality & composure on the ball. Quote
Mr. E Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Shocking amount of individual mistakes; shocking team selection. But TM will never accept an ounce of responsibility because his Dack injury excuse will always be his get out of jail free card. Dark times ahead. Quote
Exiled in Toronto Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Buckley was involved in all our good play in the first 15 minutes, the lad has promise. I’m getting sick of watching Joe “He just needs starts” Rothwell, invisible for the first 30 mins and all he has done since is run into traffic then lose possession. Tosin has also been poor. 4 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Horrible performance after the goal. We are trying to play pretty passing football at the back but we looked so static. All these long balls over our midfield seems not dealt with by Tosin/Lenihan. Rothwell sadly, looks ineffective. Chapman needs to come on. if we are playing 442, then you need wingers to cross for the Gallagher/Graham. Bennett is always an accident waiting to happen. 1 Quote

All the back up strikers are woeful and we dont have any further players who like to get forward, bar chapman who the manager seems to dislike. Edited December 29, 2019 by AAK Quote

Really thought after the end of last season the lad had something about him, but his latest run in the team has been massively underwhelming. Appreciate he's being played out of position but the only impact he's had is losing possession consistently. I don't feel silly for wanting to give a young lad with potential a chance to show what he can do, but unfortunately he hasn't taken that chance and can't complain if he loses his place in the team soon unless he has a storming second half here. roversfan99 Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 45 minutes of shite v a poor side and lucky to be level. Not least because they should have had a penalty and potentially Lenihan sent off. Quite a few performances from players who look like theyve had a few too many over Christmas! Adarabioyo has been all over the place as have the 2 central midfielders, constantly giving the ball away. Bennett has been typically shite as has Gallagher, Buckley is neither a winger nor a Championship footballer at this stage and Rothwell again flatters to deceive. Need a vastly different second 45.
