Have to say Rothwell apart from one great game has looked absolutely ineffective despite given a long run in the side. Hard to argue with him being hooked. Nyambe is a big miss for me. 1 Quote
Hasta Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I know he's nothing alone but Buckley is having a bit of a shocker. However at least he got in the box there. Quote
Wegerleswiggle Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Buckley's shot has just landed in my front room. 1 Quote

Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2019 Backroom Posted December 29, 2019 Some fantastic play to get buckley into a fantastic position to shoot, but he balloons it over the bar. Quote
joey_big_nose Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Both sides look so so so so so poor on the ball. 1 Quote
USABlue Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Seems like the only time we can ever string more than two passes together is when we pass it around back. Quote

We really struggle to play the ball out of our own half. Can barely complete two passes before losing possession. You can see why we played so much long ball last season. Quote
joey_big_nose Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 What's happened to Tosin? None of the passing quality we've seen before. Quote

Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2019 Backroom Posted December 29, 2019 Bennett ffs. Such a downgrade on Nyambe. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 29, 2019 Backroom Posted December 29, 2019 Mowbray having words with Bacuna on the touchline. Quote
Roverthechimp Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Are the players running an internal sweepstake on who can give the ball away most?? Quote
joey_big_nose Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Don't know about Mowbray but I'm bereft o ideas on how we can improve. Wouldn't bring anyone on. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 Bell for Rothwell is a really bizarre substitution. Are we just trying to hang on for a point from half time onwards? Plus, it's not inconceivable that Downing will run out of gas after 70 mins and also need replacing. Quote

When we go to this passing style, we look clueless. Luckily, I'm away and can't watch. Sounds frustrating. Quote

Rothwell was a total waste of space to be honest. Offered nothing. We have slightly improved since the change. Still abject on the ball though. Why isn't Holtby in squad? Quote

Watching us trying to pass the ball is pretty soul destroying. It's like we don't practice it in training. Commentator just noted "Mowbray with his hands on his head there after Travis loses the ball" - sounding surprised, obviously doesn't realise this happens at least ten times per match! Quote

Actually scratch that - Armstrong for Gally or Graham would make sense. I know he's frustrating but he scores and creates goals from very little. Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted December 29, 2019 Posted December 29, 2019 I enjoyed that more than Bacuna 1 Quote
