bluebruce Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Bauer stands on someone's head and just not a problem apparently. Par the course. 1 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Arma misses another sitter. We are presently the best side. hope we don't regret these misses second half. Quote

He's pretty good on the wing for me. Regularly creates and scores. Can virtually always beat his man. Much rather have him there than Gallagher. Quote

Have a guaranteed out ball, push the other side back line deep, someone who comes in central for crosses from the left and scores at the back post. But we've done it for six months and it absolutelu, resolutely hasn't worked. Why do we persist? Yes, but this is totally at odds with this passing out from the back style he reckons he's implemented. Quote

Backed himself into a corner by spending so much money on him and has to bury his head and carry on, praying that it will just magically come good. It won't. Quote
Husky Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I wonder when the Stockley hoofball will start. Quote
USABlue Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I am sorry it just does not set well with me when we are going forwards our tallest forward runs to the right wing, makes no friggin sense to me. 2 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Like most of our games we look the better side across the team. Nyambe, Lenihan, Armstrong have all been very good. Only real issue is Gallagher on the right being so utterly pointless. Graham on for Gally, bring him central, play Holtby or Armstrong right. Quote
Fraserkirky Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Armstrong is having a great game for me, causing serious problems with his pace through the middle. Really hope there are no scouts watching Nyambe today. 4 Quote

Reading all this negativity is enough to make you curl up in a dark room. Well. We dominated most of the play after they scored. Bit of a positive. We didn't carve tons of chances out of it though. Enough that we could be in the lead now though. Preston are giving the ball away with alarming regularity. I suppose we should take some credit for closing them down to help that along. Quote

USABlue Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 (edited) CAN'T BELIEVE no Nob End player in the book. REF playing right into their hands with the spoiling tactics. Rovers definitely best side BUT I can still see us losing this one. I just can not see why Mobary persists with Gally out side, he's getting under Nyambe's feet half the time. Gallagher is a waste of a place, may as well have ten men. Can’t hold it up, doesn’t win headers, can‘t pass. Useless. We miss Dack, we are a well below average team without him. To think we were going to actually sell him is madness. Especially since if our dimwit manager was allowed to spend the funds created(probably wouldn’t anyway). Quote
Husky Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Is anyone else dreading Preston's good half? How the hell are these lot play-off contenders? They've been awful aside from a bit of a flukey shot. Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 No bookings is a joke. Gallagher in the wing is a joke. Armstrong looked lively. 1 Quote

Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Cant see this finishing 1-1. Hopefully we win 3-1 and move above them alphabetically! We won't though. Quote
Husky Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I'll keep saying it.. Tories Three Down. 1 Quote
Blueandwhitemike Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Should be ahead and Gallagher on the wing apart we've played quite well. PNE have been awful, goal part, 57% passing accuracy! We need to keep on them, don't let them into the game second half. Quote
