Mr. E Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 If we are forfeiting goalkeeping for the day why not give one of the youngsters a try? We have seen everything there is to see from Leutwiler. 6 Quote

We have seen everything there is to see from Leutwiler. This is a consequence of Mowbray giving him a new deal last Summer and his nobility in “keeping players happy”. I’d have liked to have had a look at Hilton with Fisher on the bench. If not now then we are never going to see him in first team action. Leutwiler being our number 2 is part of the problem with our goalkeeper situation. 1 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 We're in the middle of a Mowbray run. The guy is an absolute clown. Quote
joey_big_nose Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Decent midfield play undone by horrendous defending and finishing. Bit of a pattern here. We really need full backs and a striker who actually can score. Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Gallagher must be in the top 5 for the worst players to grace a rovers shirt. 12 million on him & that other donkey!? Enough evidence for me on Mowbray. 2 Quote

Stuart Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Did anyone see their goal? The players tracking back might as well have been wearing GoPros for Sky given the preference to watch than to make an actual challenge! 1 Quote

davulsukur Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 So we held out for 4 mins? Impressive..... Quote
joey_big_nose Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Also Brereton has to be taken off. 1 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 The ‘defending’ for their goal wouldn’t have looked out of place in an under 7s game. As for the ‘finishing’ by our £15 million men. Jesus wept. 1 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Brereton was like a lost child in that first half. Downing, Arma and Bell playing well. Rothwell anonymous. 1 Quote

He can't trap the ball, he cant beat a player , he can't head the ball, he can't find a team mate with a pass, he can't find space on the box. I have never seen anyone so bereft. Stuart Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Never seen the Facebook groups so up in arms. Has TM finally lost the players? Quote
Swanson Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Should have been 1-1, big chance for Gallagher. Quote

1864roverite Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 Sounds like fun I really have been turned off in recent weeks with players not doing as they are meant to do professional pride should ensure they play out of their skins with the money they earn yet Rovers players don’t seem to grasp this well done don’t in any case I don’t mind losing if they try but it seems they have given up which tells me they are no longer playing for the manager Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 All over them at the minute, could've had three since half time 1 Quote
Darwen Rover 007 Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 We have been shocking again.. Ben is not a footballer.. no effort no tracking back, total imposter!!! And Gallagher couldn't hit a barn door!! 1 Quote

RTM08 Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 So from what I have seen so far aside from the goal our defence and midfield have been fine and Bell and Downing have sent so many good balls in but our frontline is atrocious. I'd love to see their ratio of shots to shots on target because their accuracy is so, so poor. 1 Quote
Wegerleswiggle Posted January 4, 2020 Author Posted January 4, 2020 The equaliser is coming!! Just like defenders are!!! Quote
