Husky Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 I think I preferred the game without the visuals. Quote

Fraserkirky Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Lucky to be 0-0, we have been insipid all over the pitch Quote

OldEwoodBlue Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Totally lost our way now. turned into a shit game after we have come down to their level. Quote

Looked like scoring a few times, so did they. A draw is the correct HT score. We were coming into the ascendancy until the JRC and Holtby knocks. Quote
roversfan99 Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 What an utterly horrible first half of football, devoid of any quality at all. No attacking threat whatsoever. Quote
philipl Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Anybody's game to lose this one. Probably seen about ten minutes between signal hangs. Quote

No attacking threat whatsoever. Disagree. Before the knocks it wasn't that bad. There were even a few brief passing moves where I thought the link up play was lovely. Flashes of what we showed against Sheff W and the first half of QPR. Ever since JRC went down the momentum died though and it has been utterly turgid. Quote
Fraserkirky Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 I think Brereton might be more useful on the right wing Gallagher. Certainly deserves a shot, Gallagher is embarrassing out there Quote
Roverthechimp Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Not popular opinion but Bennett was the best option available on the bench IMO. 1 Quote

Agreed. For Bell to be the stand-out Rovers player for this half - it means the rest of the team has been shite really. I thought we looked quite comfortable and working hard trying to break Boro down just before JRC got his head injury. Since then, it has been a bore. Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 i`ll take a point out of this,we don`t look like we`ll score if we play till midnight Quote
philipl Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 There were 10 shots (5 each) in the first 20 minutes. Just one shot (by Boro) in the last 30 minutes of that half. Quote

Wegerleswiggle Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Commentators on Middlesbrough Ifollow are actually quite good. Usually very biased but this lot are pretty fair. Quote
