Defence and midfield look knackered to me. They did in the last match. Are these foreign training camps in the space of eight days really worth it?

No! Anyone that's been anywhere 'warmer' needs 2 weeks to recover after coming back to the middle of winter.

Holtby is an absolute sick note

That's why he's here in fairness. Much like Mulgrew in 2016 wouldn't have been anywhere near us otherwise.

Darrrrreeeeeennnnnnnnn!

I think that's why he's here. Only 29, yet 4 games out of 5 seems more like 49.

Lucky to be 0-0, we have been insipid all over the pitch

That's a stretch. Looked like scoring a few times, so did they. A draw is the correct HT score.

We were coming into the ascendancy until the JRC and Holtby knocks.

What an utterly horrible first half of football, devoid of any quality at all. No attacking threat whatsoever.

Disagree. Before the knocks it wasn't that bad. There were even a few brief passing moves where I thought the link up play was lovely. Flashes of what we showed against Sheff W and the first half of QPR. Ever since JRC went down the momentum died though and it has been utterly turgid.

Bell is the only one who looks sharp and is winning some intelligent free-kicks. Who'd a thunk it?

Agreed. For Bell to be the stand-out Rovers player for this half - it means the rest of the team has been shite really. I thought we looked quite comfortable and working hard trying to break Boro down just before JRC got his head injury. Since then, it has been a bore.

More of a reflection on us, losing 50/50’s, slow to the ball, etc.

Boro look dodgy at the back.

Omfg, Bennett on... good thing we used the transfer window so well.

Bennett will always be first man off the bench. Mr Utility.

Forget FFP, our problem is NFP. No F’ing Plan.

No clear cut chances created by us and plenty of technical incompetence on both sides.
