'Respecting the Jack Walker legacy' Thank you in advance and bloody well don't hold back lads. Can't even use FFP as an excuse on that front. Just comes down to a complete and utter lack of care or attention from those at the top. 6 Quote

'Respecting the Jack Walker legacy' Thank you in advance and bloody well don't hold back lads. This is something I intend to raise, pretty sure I've seen it raised at one of these or a fans forum meeting within the last couple of years and nothing seems to have been done about it, it's deteriorated if anything. 2 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Surely stadium maintenance does contribute to FFP.... i.e. if we spend more money it increases the losses. Here's a genuine question. How much does it cost per year to run our women's team ? i.e. I presume it doesn't make a profit and therefore increases the losses and isn't FFP exempt ? Do we need one? Do we care? Quote

After HE over budgeted for some reason ! Quote

It doesn't factor in, and the club will probably receive more in grants and funding just for having a ladies team at that level than they spend in funding it! Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Will there be any positivity at this, allowing for the fact that (contrary to what you might think from looking on here) we are actually having a pretty decent season? A couple of young lads made the breakthrough. European scout in place(albeit after a bit of a long wait) etc Quote
Mattyblue Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 That’s what the other fan groups are there for! 1 Quote

A couple of young lads made the breakthrough. European scout in place(albeit after a bit of a long wait) etc There will be plenty. The club make sure of it. These meetings are a requirement set out by the EFL, who as you’d expect are vague enough to allow clubs to do as they wish in regards to how these meetings are structured. Rovers push the boundaries each and every time. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss “significant issues relating to the club”. The representatives they send aren’t wholly appropriate either. 7 Quote

Popular Post chaddyrovers Posted February 3, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 3, 2020 Could people attending this meeting please raise with the club about having a match for Tony Parkes to raise funds for alzheimer's or make a match day Tony Parkes day and let him walk the teams out and give him the fans reception he very much deserves. Get some former players back as well on that day. 41 Quote
Mattyblue Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) Now that’s a chaddy post we can all get on board with! A possible idea would be to use the upcoming 2nd Hall of Fame night as a fundraiser. Edited February 3, 2020 by Mattyblue 3 Quote
