You have to manage different personalities differently - not everyone is a motivated self-starter. Some need an arm round the shoulder, some need a boot up the arse. 

From the outside looking in, Chapman has been brought in and left to 'prove himself' in the reserves for 6 months, despite our first team screaming out for pace and width. He doesn't even make the bench - some personalities react to that by taking their ball and going home.

We neutralised Fulham and brought them to our level in the first half. 0-0 i guess overall its a fair score for now.

Can't see where our goal threat is. Gallagher again ineffective on the wings. Johnson guilty of quite a few misplaced passes. Travis and maybe Walton probably the standout players so far.

Tight game but we have contained them well. There’s no doubt they have better players than us in how they zip the ball around. Definitely playing to a plan of not over-committing. The one time Fulham looked dangerous was when our counter-attack broke down with Armstrong on the edge of their box.

1-0 to someone will do it.

Too static up front. Poor half really. Hope for more movement second half to create a few opportunities. Zero shots that half. 1-0 will do nicely.

He was injured for 2 years.  Couldn't get a sniff at boro, came here to get a chance to prove himself.  Doesnt seem like hes up for it.  Theres always darts if he doesn't want to push on.

Exactly what you would expect with arguably our 3 best technical players missing. Solid enough.

Gallagher really is poor though. Dear oh dear. 
 

Johnson also 3 Miles off the pace.
