I’ve messaged the seller who weirdly has mufc as part of his user name. Says he bought a job lot of shirts from an ex employee who had contacts at the club.

I’m tempted by a couple of the shirts.

And I bit. He’s set up an Instagram account and Tugay has liked the pic of the shirt. I’ve bought the signed match worn Tugay shirt to get framed and put in my office.

There was an old shoot magazine from the nineties that was profiling the best upcoming young talent to watch and comparing them I.e Julian Joachim was supposedly the next John Barnes etc

There’s some odd ones. Signed Tugay match worn for less than some of the lesser players. The price for the Makel one is probably down to the prem badges.

You can buy those badges on eBay and all. I have bought two sets so far.

Now I need to try to narrow down which game toogs may have worn the shirt for. It’s 06-07 premier league game with the red and grey kit.

And after an evening of geeking around on Google I’ve narrowed it down to:

16/12/06 - Reading

20/01/07 - Manchester City

31/01/07 - Chelsea

10/02/07 - Everton

05/05/07 - Newcastle

10/05/07 - Tottenham

now to start searching for Tugay pics from those games to see if there are any matching dirty marks.

I did check those but it’s got the prem patches so defo league. We had the weird letters for UEFA cup games that season as well. It’s a season full of memories for me as I did a load of the away Europe games

Yes. I saw a “match worn” Alan Shearer away shirt from 95/96 listed recently complete with champions badges however the number 9 on the back had an ASICS logo which I believe that seasons did not have

If you look in his "completed listings" some shirts are selling and others aren't. 

There are some extraordinary prices though - £4,500 for a Cantona shirt and £1,750 for Paul Scholes boots.

The seller has 100 per cent feedback so presumably the buyers are happy with their purchases.

I think that’s just down to the Large number that he bought at the same time.
