joey_big_nose Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 With the season about to restart does anyone know what the squad fitness status is like? Keen to know if Dack and Holtby will be available? Also news about the frequency of fixtures. Quote

roversfan99 Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 (edited) Holtby and Evans are both back fit. Dack will be a while yet, it was a 9 to 12 month injury 5 month ago and he said last week in an interview that his aim is the start of next season. Edited June 5, 2020 by roversfan99 Quote

Stuart Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Ben Brereton: Training Ground Ronaldo BCD might suit this fella. Play-offs here we come! Quote

The meeting has been put back to Tuesday. Interestingly the article stresses that June 20th is only a provisional and that there is feeling amongst some managers that it's too soon. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52914059 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52907396 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 The fixtures must be broadly in the same order as they would have been played on a non virus world. Meanwhile the main football authority being the TV companies are taking their time dividing up the spoils. The outcome awaited with interest. Quote

He looks like he’s been stranded on a remote island for a few years. Having Holtby back is a huge bonus. Edited June 6, 2020 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote

joey_big_nose Posted June 6, 2020 Author Posted June 6, 2020 Have to say Holtby has looked like a good footballer but not particularly effective so far. But to be honest that is a significant improvement over attacking players who look neither good nor effective (Gallagher, Brereton, Samuel). At least with him you have a bit of hope. Quote
Guest Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Disagree with @Sparks Rover about Holtby. He's a decent footballer and I think he was starting to take onus of his position without Dack to worry about. If he can play like he did at Sheffield Wednesday I don't see how he isn't one of our best players. Let's see how the injury has affected him. Quote

Apart from that we all wait with baited breath. My initial analysis is that his legs have gone, hopefully not. Quote
Stuart Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 All 9 games free on iFollow for ST holders. So £90 of “value”. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2020/june/rovers-to-review-streaming-plans/ Quote
Ossydave Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Hard to believe theres people out there who don't have IPTV these days anyway, hence all the games free 3 Quote

No sign of a refund yet for those unable/unwilling to watch through iFollow. Two season ticket holders in our household too ..may seem a daft question but is iFollow only available through a PC/Tablet/Phone or is it possible to stream via a Smart TV ? Or maybe cast from a device to a Smart TV ? Quote
