Upside Down
Fortunately for all you that lament the old days, the club are doing everything in their power to return the Riverside to its former glory.
Mattyblue
Problem is it was never a ‘new’ Riverside, just a patch up job that has lasted 30+ years.
SIMON GARNERS 194
Am I right in thinking the Riverside Seats are bolted to the original terracing?

The "our ground's too big for us" mob need to take a good look at this picture because you can clearly see that our ground is too small here. Only to lose to bloody Charlton at home in a replay. McLoughlin who scored the hat trick for Portsmouth died a year or two back. Sweaty Gussets
Lorenzo Amoruso's Rangers wish as defender reflects on 'reluctant' transfer to Blackburn Rovers - Football Scotland "I left Rangers reluctantly. I never wanted to leave, because I'd hoped to finish my career at Ibrox" I also wish he'd finished his career at Ibrox.

We've had far worse central defenders over the years and I'll not forget his bullet header against Wolves? on his debut. Strange signing, you have to wonder where the envelopes went on that one! Six months later he signed him ! Edited January 10, 2023 by Tyrone Shoelaces
Wheelton Blue
Was the Wolves game the one where that Greek winger of ours (can't remember his name) did that amazing dribble and scored? (I could be thinking of some other game)
oldjamfan1
We signed one or two very ordinary players from Rangers during that few years.

He may have got a couple actually if memory serves me right.

Yeah Emerton probably had his best game for us in that match. He looked like a World beater. I remember watching him play for Australia in central midfield before he came to Rovers. He was the best player on the pitch, so we played him out wide.
