Anyone got any pics of the old John Lewis restaurant/bar in the Nuttall Stand?  Was in it years ago and met Shearer and the whole team.

Used to go there for Sunday lunch, Mother’s Day meals etc. Thirty plus years ago the club actually knew how to ‘sweat the assets’…

Is there any photos of it?  Cant find them anywhere online?   I remember going up the stairs and then there would be tables and chairs on the left and the bar facing you and the windows on the right overlooking the pitch.  McEwans Lager on sale on tap.

Best I could get from a Google search. Distant view of it from the Darwen End plus another view of the entrance (right of the ticket office) from the outside on Nuttall Street. Nothing from inside, unfortunately.

Yeah I was looking recently and none to be found anywhere on google.  The only time I've seen it was with my own eyes.

I never actually knew what that was about. I just thought a Beamo was someone belting it into the top tier, I never knew it was a player.

Don Martin was. such a fine player.  Better than Brereton.

Died in November 2009 aged 65. Too young

Whenever Gerald came to Ewood, he was always greeted by a chorus of “Sinstad’s a w*nker” by the Blackburn End faithful. Very unkind in my opinion.
