I was unsure where to put this really, but apparently this was taken 11yrs ago today (Nostalgia), our tent at a music festival.

Have we made any progress whatsoever since this was taken? Excluding the odious bugger on the flag, I really don’t think we have.

The elephant is still well and truly in the room Gav.

Personally I curse the day they took control of our club.

World Cup winner? That doesn't impress Andy Todd 😁.

Todd was an out and out thug. Nothing clever (or hard) about booting someone lying on the floor right in front of the ref.
Cost us two points if I remember correctly?

True, it was an idiotic thing to do. It did cost us in the end, as they scored a late equaliser.

In my top five ever games this.

I remember it well. I was at uni in the USA.

Back then ESPN had the rights to Prem football and they showed the Monday night game on a delay.

There was no TV coverage of it and internet was in its early stages so I was able to shield myself from knowing the result.

I remember sitting down ready to watch when my phone rang. It was my dad. The first words out of his mouth were' Did you watch that? 7-2. What a game".

I still watched it but it lost a lot of the excitement had I not known the score.

How times have changed. There is no way I'd be able to do that today. Even over here.

Hahaha fuck off spurs.

There's only one outcome here - Shearer 20 yards out.

Haha. I actually bumped into a Spurs fan randomly in Birmingham recently. He spotted my Rovers t-shirt and was saying how Cardiff 2002 still hurts him to this day. Good! 😁.

He did express sympathy at what Venky's have done to the club though, so fair play.

They can have Ash Phillips. That's small fry compared to how we have hurt them in the past. Shearer, Duffer, Cole. They saw the real deal.

@Tyrone Shoelaces has talked a couple of times about Bryan Douglas hurting Spurs in spectacular fashion about sixty years ago. I always enjoy that tale. Jimmy Greaves played in that game I believe. He raved about Duggie in his autobiography.

Perhaps @only2garners  @Rover Boy and one or two others of our distinguished long time supporters were also at the game?

Greaves played and scored one of their goals.

Before my time as a game attending fan I'm afraid. At that time I was at home on the farm near Rufford and too young to be getting to games by myself. So I only ever went a couple of times when my uncle could take me and didn't start regularly attending until 1967 when I was old enough to get there myself.
