Wheelton Blue
On the 15th February, Rovers play Plymouth Argyle at Ewood. Coincidentally, that will be 50 years to the day since that famous 5-2 victory, which was the first Rovers game I ever went to. My dad dragged me down and sat me in the old Riverside stand. I can still remember it even now.

Often wondered why…looking at Paul Mariner for England? if there was one match I’d love to have on video it would be this one. Wheelton Blue
All that talk on the other thread about what constitutues a 'supporter'... For the vast majority of the sofa watching Sky fraternity, they'll never experience anything like this. It's what it's all about, and in my case, this game hooked me for life. I’ve got a nice one made by “ Baracuta “ when they were still made in England. I just checked their site - £250 now !

I have several other ones by other makers like “ Fred Perry “, “ Falconable “, etc. They are a very versatile jacket.
