The voice is how I remember final score in the 80's. Worth waiting for all division one score to finish for the important ones to come through.

Watched this last night,  very nostalgic, pausing it to look at the old Blackburn End etc.

On the same prog was Chelsea v Man Utd, which was a perfect example of how far the current state of football differs from mid 80's version.

Violent tackles and scuffles unpunished, an old terraced stadium crammed with 40,000 people mostly on terraces, a remarkably bad pitch-just mud and sand everywhere, and very tight shorts!

Fantastic.

Fantastic.

It's almost like watching two separate sports now with how the modern game has evolved. There are some aspects I wish we could go back to such as allowing a higher degree of contact.

I do wonder where the game will be in another couple of decades.

There must be about 7 or 8 of those teams no longer playing league football.

Heading the ball will be gone by then.

Well worth a viewing result notwithstanding for the preamble piece in the boardroom.

My wife’s cousin scoring one & making one made it personally quite interesting 👀

I have it recorded so will have a watch later.

I'll take particular interest in the player you mention 😁

Rovers 2 Liverpool 1 FA CUP 1958 - 52,000 packed into Ewood

I may need to look at the options to view the small newspaper print.
