Wigan are absolutely shite. We're no great shakes either unfortunately, an inconsistent team in a poor division. We're close to the playoffs simply because so many teams are in the same boat. I'm not going to crucify Walton for one mistake as he's been decent for the vast majority of the season, but as I said many months ago I personally wouldn't bring him in as guaranteed no. 1. I still think we need slightly better if we have serious playoff aspirations. 1 Quote

Such a frustrating result if it stays the same. We can pass it around when given the opportunity. We don't create anything though and the second teams close us down, we don't know what to do with the ball. I'd love to see Mowbray gone, but life isn't that kind. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted June 27, 2020 Backroom Posted June 27, 2020 We gambled on stopping and trying to con the ref into giving us a foul rather than trying to block the shot Quote

Stuart Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 What an awful game. Once again, just when we get into touching distance we have an afternoon like this. Same old. 4 Quote

Backroom DE. Posted June 27, 2020 Backroom Posted June 27, 2020 Subs don't seem to have helped us today at all. We seem to have been noticeably worse since Tony started making them. A shame as we needed some fresh impetus on the pitch, but I feel we brought off some players we shouldn't have. With that said for all Holtby's talent he rarely seems to complete much more than 60 minutes which is a problem. Quote
Darwen Rover 007 Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 They've well and truly done us! Gallagher offers nothing.. We need a settled 11 and core.. Quote

Not even got in their half for the past ten minutes. Appalling. Cook really does have Mowbray’s number save for that one home match last season. Quote
