1-0 Wigan. FFS, another howler from Walton.

How on earth are we losing this? Wigan are absolutely shite.

We're no great shakes either unfortunately, an inconsistent team in a poor division. We're close to the playoffs simply because so many teams are in the same boat.

I'm not going to crucify Walton for one mistake as he's been decent for the vast majority of the season, but as I said many months ago I personally wouldn't bring him in as guaranteed no. 1. I still think we need slightly better if we have serious playoff aspirations.

At least we can play a bit. Albeit we’re producing naff all from open play.

Such a frustrating result if it stays the same.

We can pass it around when given the opportunity. We don't create anything though and the second teams close us down, we don't know what to do with the ball.

I'd love to see Mowbray gone, but life isn't that kind.

We gambled on stopping and trying to con the ref into giving us a foul rather than trying to block the shot

He got clattered by his own man...guve him a break

So was their keeper in the 1st half, but he made sure he held onto the ball.

That's the difference.

What an awful game.

Once again, just when we get into touching distance we have an afternoon like this.

Same old.

No its not, if that had been their player it would have been a foul. Samuel not interested in stopping the cross

Subs don't seem to have helped us today at all. We seem to have been noticeably worse since Tony started making them. A shame as we needed some fresh impetus on the pitch, but I feel we brought off some players we shouldn't have. With that said for all Holtby's talent he rarely seems to complete much more than 60 minutes which is a problem.

Because he was a similar liability and wanted a massive pay rise.

Yeah Raya had a few clangers in him as well. The reality is the standard of keeping in the lower leagues is abysmal across the board.

Haven’t touched the ball since they scored

We haven’t looked remotely like equalising since that Samuel header. Not even got in their half for the past ten minutes. Appalling.

Cook really does have Mowbray’s number save for that one home match last season.
