I don't watch much football these days - all I can tell you is that whilst he was turning out for Blackburn Rovers, he always had a calamity in him. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 (edited) Walton defies belief, he's an absolute joke. Send him back now and let a young lad have a go, he couldn't be any worse. When you've got other imposters in the team as well like Gallagher and Bennett you've no chance. The teams are much of a muchness at this level and you need everyone pulling their weight. Panic over, Tony's pension plan secure for another year. Edited June 27, 2020 by RevidgeBlue Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Disgusting game Tepid and weak performance. Bennett is no left back. Rothwell is useless. Gallagher likewise 1 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Shameful.. Hotlby... Johnson.. Gallagher all donkeys. Worst of the lot, Captain Benno! Quote
1864roverite Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Hang your heads in shame Rovers truly awful and I am just glad we didn’t have to venture to that shithole to watch what was a totally dire and inept display. 1 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Let's be honest folks, Bristol made us look good last week, our results prior to Covid say we ain't. 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Every time there's a prospect of getting into the top 6.......Tony knocks us right back down again. Anyone woulds think it was deliberate 3 Quote

As I say, bar one match, he has Tony’s number. The ‘performance’ once we went one down was galling, it really was. 1 Quote

He’s obviously got fitness issues, but he had a half decent game. Gallagher and Bennett however are pitiful footballers who, despite a bit of effort, are headless chickens who will never play for a top 6 side. I cannot believe that Tony can’t see it. Quote
EgyptianPete Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 well at least we know what league we are in next season, get those players in ASAP Quote

philipl Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Pretty abysmal. Walton at fault for both goals. Bennett lack of a left foot neutralised our attacking ability. Gallagher- oh dear. Cannot play with 9.5 men out there. Four headers in front of goal and only Samuel forced a save. Brereton improved again. Davenport again a nice cameo. Johnson mostly useless. 2 Quote
RV Blue Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 We would be the worst team to ever get in the top 6. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted June 27, 2020 Backroom Posted June 27, 2020 An unfortunate reality check. Glad to see the back of Wigan after the dire 0-0 in December where Dack got injured, and now this. We played some pretty football at times today but had zero end product. Perhaps not surprising considering the starting line-up, which was concerning. If Armstrong is struggling fot fitness or something else I hope it is sorted soon, as we can't rely on Gallagher, Holtby and Brereton to provide us with goals - and for the record the latter two were decent today, but they aren't goalscorers. tomphil Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Didn't take long for the real Tony Mowbray Rovers to return. All those fawning over Samuel put away your sympathetic thoughts just because of his injury. Far too much old pals stuff at Ewood under this manager. Time to move him and several others on they aren't up to it and are far too comfortable. 5 Quote
Bohinen 22 Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Toothless toothless toothless. And a crap goalkeeper. Not a good combination. 1 Quote

Ad Bradley Johnson to the imposter list, that was a pathetic half an hour. Quote
Doogs Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Said all season nowhere good enough to be top six. Does our manager know his best 11...Bennett, Walton, Rothwell, Gally...say no more.. Quote
