Fraserkirky Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Buckley and Davenport coming on is the highlight of the game. Thank god Leeds will be out of this division. Far too much quality for us. Quote
Boroblue Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I wonder what a manager like bielsa would have done with our youth and the existing players. It’s all very one dimensional and lacks dynamism. I suppose the words I’m looking for is old fashioned. We don’t bring anything to the party Quote
Fraserkirky Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Are my eyes deceiving me, how the fuck is Johnson playing 90mins here? 1 Quote

Far too much quality for us. The last team I watched us play in this league that I thought "woof, they're bloody good" was Sheffield Utd. Everyone else is absolutely attainable with some shrewd signings and tactics. Quote
bluebruce Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Commentators talking like we can still get something here. Like they've learnt nothing about our inability to come back from behind, let alone against the table toppers, 2 goals down, with 20 minutes left. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted July 4, 2020 Backroom Posted July 4, 2020 3-1 down at home and still the away team are the aggressors in the match, shows the difference in ethos Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Mowbray's tactics rely too heavily on his fullbacks being absolute worldies. I think that whenever I see Nyambe marauding forward. Quote

Stuart Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Amazing pass that. Definite dive. Walton couldn’t have done much else than try to block. 1 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Why hasn't he booked Bamford for diving there? 2 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted July 4, 2020 Backroom Posted July 4, 2020 That should have been a red, would have forced Mowbray to play another keeper as well 4 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 How's Walton got away with a yellow there? That would actually have done us a massive favour if he'd copped a ban. Quote

Unless you're talking about the card Bamford should have got for his blatant dive, but I think they only hand out yellows for that. Quote
Fraserkirky Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 Samuel you can’t even score from 4 yards let’s not try the 35 yarders 1 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I feel so sorry for Nyambe. He's asked to do far too much. Quote

He's asked to boss the entire right flank on his own every week. If he was the finished product he wouldn't be playing for us - but Mowbray does him no favours asking him to play as a WB in a back 4. 2 Quote

Gogger Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 If Samuel gets a new and shiny contract I wont watch a game next season. Waste of a shirt. 2 Quote
