Can only go off what I've seen, but so far JRC's versatility makes him a ten times better Benno replacement, I'd much rather have him as Tony's go to guy to plug a gap.

I’d much rather see him played in his strongest position whatever that might be.

Everton would be a good fit for him.

I think all three are good clubs for him to go to as I doubt he’s going to break into the city team

I disagree. We just scored 2 away at Bournemouth and really should have had more.

The goals will come, I just can't see us keeping enough out...

From who tho? I think we will be lucky for both dack and armstrong to get 15+. At the moment I cant see any other player getting more than 10. Maybe gallagher and brereton will prove me wrong.

I agree with others that maybe a cm isnt priority. LB and gk then personally I would go for a striker over cm.

I'd be starting Dolan on Saturday now.

Kaminski

Nyambe Lenihan Williams Bell

JRC Holtby Rothwell

Dolan Armstrong Brereton

My question is whose putting a foot in with that team?

Yeah that's fair. I'm sure JRC has that in his locker though.

If Johnson was fit I'd probably play him over Brereton and move JRC further forward.

Agree, just woulndt want to see another former player at Fulham. They are likely go down imo, so seeing them all 'probably' beat us the following season is not ideal for me.

What an absolute nightmare. Other than perhaps Arma, this injury couldn't have happened to a worse player for us.

Anyone can kick players, but physically dominating the midfield is a specialists game. With Travis out Johnson and Evans become more important for a bit of muscle as much as anything else.

That said they haven't got the legs of Travis though so it will be touch and go if the 433 works. Also a lot of counter attacks Travis snuffs out before they even get going. I don't think anyone else we have has that ability to sense danger. Certainly not JRC, Holtby or Rothwell who are all offensive minded players.

In my estimation Travis is probably our best player, better and more critical to our team than Dack, so losing him is terrible.

Up to now someone, putting a foot in, hasn’t worked very well we are leaking goals even when we are dominant. I would say that there is something wrong with the system rather than the personnel.

I remember when Matteo moved into midfield from LB/CB. That worked a treat.? Bell could be our new midfielder enforcer?

Recoup what they paid? They're delusional. Didn't he cost about 4 million? Not a club on the planet that's about to pay 4 million for a 29-year old  left back who has played almost his whole career at Championship or below and just spent nearly all of last season injured. I'm sure their club are considerably more sensible than your mates. I bet they'd take 2 at the drop of a hat, but that's quite a bit more than I'd feel comfortable paying.

i'd be amazed if we had two million to spend on one player, I think Cunningham if he goes is crossing the seven bridge and heading to Bristol City

Agreed, but without Travis there's now something wrong with the personnel as well.

I like to optimistic?

Or when Warnock formed "one of the best midfields in the league" or something like that with Andrews...

I think Bristol Citys local reporter denied any interest but you are right, I cant see us spending 7 figures on a player this window in fact.

Was that Souness or Ince? We've had some mental bastards in charge!

Even the greatest do it. Rio got moved to CM the night Bentley hit 3.

Andrews was brought in by Ince. So it couldn't be Souness. Either Ince or Allardyce as Warnock left while Sam was here.

I thought Warnock was quite good in midfield when played there. Andrews on the other hand....

Keith had the pace of Petrovic and the touch of Kuqi.
