WBA are a class above us, unfortunately. Difficult to see us getting back into it unless we can grab a scrappy goal or score a set piece and swing the momentum in our favour. The only real positive is that we're only one down at the moment.

Sounds like Graham should have scored there.

Redirected a header across he box on target.

Tough chance, but yes a good player puts that away.

Dack basically saying Armstrong is a number 9. Shame he plays for a manager who doesn’t believe in them!

Eh?

He said he prefers having Armstrong as an inside forward cutting in from the left.

They're better than us for sure, but the main difference has been that Brazilian midfielder. He's the best player on the pitch.

Should be at least 3-0 by now. Annoying to concede the first goal.

I'd say we should have a goal too, between that DG miss and the cross slid invitingly across early on. So, 3-1, still worse than we are doing. That's some attacking lineup WBA have though, Grosicki, Perreira (sp?), Charlie Austin...

Best player in the League. Mowbray would play him wide right.

Got my stream back a few minutes later by closing the window and going again into the Rovers site. But it's so annoying when watching a game as good as this.

Another game I have to wonder if Mowbray’s first comment at halftime is, “we’re winning possession.”

From a competitive standpoint, if we get a tie today, I would be amazed. This is a good baggies side.

He did indeed. He also said Brereton will be a top player, that Travis has learned a lot off Richie Smallwood and that Nyambe isn’t interested in joining shooting practices after training.

Walton kept us in it with some sharp saves and I expected Danny to do better with our keg chance.

That touch from Pereira was such class, if his team mates could finish this would be game over, everything including the goal has been directed centrally, they may be playing the odds, hit the target and one will go in

I will swap Samuel, Gallagher and Brereton for one Armstrong.

I'd love to get their wages off the books and some money back in transfer fees.

i think the kindest thing you can say about samuel is that he tries hard

The late break by Rovers showed up Samuel, not a clue what to do, scuffs his shot and gets a lucky corner

Samuel ain't good enough for this league, surely Mowbray can see that.

For an expert he's completely blind to this.

not often we get made to play to the BBE first half.

Graham header best chance. Poor really.

Samuel was clueless when 2 on 2 then. Needed far more more conviction in his run. Should have cut inside and scored. Pathetic effort.

?? Hopefully a career in football management does not beckon for Dacky.

In fairness Samuel is playing a level above his ability. Can't fault his effort even if the ability isn't there.

Looking at the scores and table, nothing less than a win is going to be good enough.

Rovers 0 WBA 4

The playoffs died when we lost to Barnsley and Wigan.

I don't know why people are kidding themselves by keeping up with results around us.
