Exiled_Rover Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 So we're back to playing with this bloody False 9. Rothwell must have no stamina. He was bright for 10 minutes and now he's walkin around. Quote

frosty Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Gallagher had no idea Rothwell was going to play that pass, he should have made a run as soon as Rothwell got it to his feet. Like Samuel not anticipating Graham's flick on in the first half, there's no natural striker's instinct there. 7 Quote

WacoRover Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 We have 63% possession... someone tell me how Tony thinks this is an asset when we have 4 shots to their 9, 1 on target to their 4. It makes no sense. 8 Quote

This is what happens when you have all of the ball but no real fullbacks to create width in your own half, no real wingers to create width in the opposition half, and no strikers to stretch their centre halves. Really is an ingenious approach to the game I have to admit. 2 Quote
superniko Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 (edited) It’s absolutely horrific. Think I’ve had one actual jump off the sofa moment and that was the Armstrong chance. We wouldn’t score if we had another 90. Edited July 14, 2020 by superniko 1 Quote

Elvis Biro Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 I think Leonard Venkhater hit the nail on the head by referencing Samuel Beckett- another thing he said was 'Ever failed. Try again.Fail again. Fail better'. Surely Tony's mantra for life. 1 Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Gallagher is brilliant in our box. Why isn't he brilliant in theirs?! 1 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Millwall are simply well organised. That's all it takes against a rovers team that cannot break teams down despite dominating possession. Downing has been incredibly poor recently. Wouldn't be offering him another deal...or DG or Samuels 4 Quote
jim mk2 Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Mid-table team going neither up nor down goes through motions in order to fulfill end of season fixture. Fair summary? 5 Quote
RoverKyle Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Providing his ACL injury doesn't take something from his game, imagine how good Dack is going to look alongside this lot next season. Quote
unleaded Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Yes slow and very Narrow ..... terrible football ... 1 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 £7 million man doesn’t get a run out when we need a goal. Says it all. 3 Quote
Scotland1 Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Give Damien Johnson the last two games please. Even if it’s just a Pep and Arteta experiment. How much worse can he do! I can’t bear watching or seeing Mowbray here another day. This season has been horrendous and we’ve not kicked on despite what he’s had to spend and the squad built. Millwall, Cardiff would kill for some of our players and the wages we pay. 6 Quote
