Other teams have started to get really busy in the transfer market, with plenty of times having strengthened. Preston havent made a single signing yet.

Birmingham have signed a keeper from Espanyol and Ivan Sanchez who seemingly did very well at Elche, as well as Leko from West Brom and Friend from Boro, seems that Karanka has been very busy. Derby have brought in Marshall, Clarke back from Brighton and Groningen captain te Wierek which has been lined up for a while. They will be a threat this year. Bristol City did well signing Williams from Wigan. Barnsley signed a winger from LASK who played United. Brentford are signing Ivan Toney. Norwich, Forest, Stoke and Swansea have all been very busy too.

We could be playing Bournemouth at an awful time. Due to the bizarre situation whereby the transfer window closes after the season starts, they will seemingly have the majority of their best players, Wilson, Brooks, King etc all still at the club.

Yes finally the transfer window is getting going. But Alot of teams still need more signings. Plenty of loans still to happen

Brentford will lose Watkins and Benrahma before the window close cos Villa are interest.

Still expect a fire sale at Bournemouth and Watford to happen.

Forest have done good business

I didn't know that Preston haven't made a signing so far.

Karanka has proper connections that are not just a 100 miles away or so.

Villa going from spending silly money on unheard of foreigners last year to now spending silly money on good Championship players this year.

Suggests Dean Smith taking more of a role in recruitment.

Expect them to be down struggling in the bottom 6

Mark Bowen walks away from Reading after rejecting the role of sporting director

can only see reading occupying a relegation place, bowen galvanised the team and then they go and basically demote him for a coach who`s got absolutely no idea of what british football is about

Norwich or Forest to win the league for me

Wycombe, Rotherham and Coventry to go down.

Did you still think Derby can finish even tho they are selling 2 of their best players in Boyle and Lowe to Sheffield United?

Watkins and Benrahma aren't in their Brentford team today.

sign they are going.

Watkins linked with Spurs today.

Of course they will go that is how Brentford operate. But they have already recruited one replacement in Toney to ensure that they won't be scraping around looking for a panic buy.

Well looks see how Toney does 1st there. Different players to Watkins.

We aren't panic buying players tho. But getting the best player we can for our budget. Panic buying would be over paying for players who arent worth the money

We have panic bought plenty over the last 2 season and the closer the deadline gets without any incomings the more likely a panic buy is. It's clear that there is no recruitment plan in place at Ewood like there is at Brentford.

We will see when the window shut's but the closer it gets to closing with us not having brought anyone in then the more likely we are to see panic signings like Brereton and Walton in the previous 2 seasons.

Love how the BBC say they do not know why but have learned that it was a breach of contract. No shit sherlock, in what other circumstances can a club terminate a players contract? Of course it is some kind of breach of the contract.

All sorts of rumours on Cardiff message boards. Two obvious ones are the ones that keep cropping up, though....
