roversfan99 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Derby looked poor, it was a poor game and Rooney just came up with one moment of brilliance. Would be a good moment for football if Norwich didnt come back up after their tactical relegation. Quote
oldjamfan1 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Blimey, Forest are having a tough time of it, 2-0 down early doors at home to Bristol City. Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Top 6th going into the international week (7th if Birmingham beats Stoke tomorrow). Top scorers in the league Long way to go but I think we are doing ok so far. 3 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Sounds like Barnsley's head coach Struber is going to walk away during the international break Quote
philipl Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 I guess Raya will be back after the international break. The guy between the sticks for Brentford has just let in 4 in 20 minutes at home to PNE. Quote
only2garners Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Struber now gone to New York Red Bulls. Quote
Mattyblue Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Forest manager sacked... never in doubt with us coming up next. 2 Quote

Backroom DE. Posted October 6, 2020 Backroom Posted October 6, 2020 I guess Hughton has lowered his ambitions a little. Either that or Forest are chucking him a shedload of money. Quote
roversfan99 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Very good choice by Forest. Still, we should be looking to win at home to them. We are 6th, theyve lost every game, their squad is massively overloaded with defensive midfielders, lets get the win. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Forest have signed a lot of players this summer and allowed Lamouchi to sign the players he wanted according to what was reported on Sky Sports. Will be interested to how they do now. Their transfer policy seems all over the place this summer to be honest. Some good players there but can Hughton get them working well. We see. Quote

They have some excellent players in that squad - I would imagine he believes he can get them up next season if not this one. Handy to have a tool whereby they can get around FFP so easily too. Quote
JacknOry Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 You just knew he would be sacked so its no surprise just before the international break. Gives him time to get in and look at the players etc. Just typical timing for us. Lets hope the manager bounce is not immediate. Quote

This is going to be a huge challenge to measure where we are now. Another 0-0 coming up.. 1 Quote
BRFC4EVA Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Ffs why does this always seem to happen to us. Couldn't they let him have a couple more games? 1 Quote
Blue blood Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Forest have a good manager and along with a talented if underperforming squad become more of a threat. Barnsley without their manager look a lot weaker and more likely for relegation. Just goes to show how important the right manager is at this level. 1 Quote
