It's absolutely wide open this season with no real stand out teams. I honestly think Rovers and the Nobbers will be in and around the mix come the business end. Both pushing for the play offs.

I'm guessing (hoping) that their assault on the summit is built on far less solid foundations than ours, but I guess we'll see. After all, weren't Charlton flying this time last season before dropping like a stone into L1?

We should never have lost to Forest. A drab 0-0 is understandable but to lose that game late on in the manner we did encapsulates the weak, soft, easy to beat side to Rovers.

To be fair we finished above 16th in both prior years under Mowbray. 12th is about right though and still is miles off target.

I think injuries and COVID isolation are going to play a big factor this season. Rovers have already used 26 players in matches so far. It’s going to be difficult to rely on unchanged teams this time. Squad  depth will be key.

Very much so. The narrative is that we have struggled with unavailability which you can not argue but it is common across the league, so we cant feel too hard done by.

Nervy ending, but finished 3-2. Reading looked a different side to that on show at Ewood on Tues
