I keep repeating myself but I think Reading are going to stay in contention all season. They've only conceded 1 goal so far, that's some statistic ! Quote

AllRoverAsia Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Have Reading opted for a fast build? A bit unsporting 5 Quote
Casual Observer Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 It's absolutely wide open this season with no real stand out teams. I honestly think Rovers and the Nobbers will be in and around the mix come the business end. Both pushing for the play offs. Quote

I'm guessing (hoping) that their assault on the summit is built on far less solid foundations than ours, but I guess we'll see. After all, weren't Charlton flying this time last season before dropping like a stone into L1? Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Forest will have won 1 in 4 after tonight under Hughton. No prizes for guessing who they beat. Sheff Weds getting turned over at Rotherham 3-0 too. Quote
bazza Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 PNE and Rovers home form is relegation form. Quote
JHRover Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 We should never have lost to Forest. A drab 0-0 is understandable but to lose that game late on in the manner we did encapsulates the weak, soft, easy to beat side to Rovers. 1 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 Only goal difference separating us from 16th - about where you'd normally expect to finish under Mowbray. Quote
roversfan99 Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 To be fair we finished above 16th in both prior years under Mowbray. 12th is about right though and still is miles off target. Quote
islander200 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Bristol city having even worse luck than us with injuries Weimann out for the season, Mawson out for 6 month and Sessegnon out for a spell 1 Quote

Rovers have already used 26 players in matches so far. It’s going to be difficult to rely on unchanged teams this time. Squad depth will be key. 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Very much so. The narrative is that we have struggled with unavailability which you can not argue but it is common across the league, so we cant feel too hard done by. Quote
Rogerb Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Preston have lost 7 of the last 9 home games. Quote
Sparks Rover Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Coventry defending well against Reading and manged to nick one. Hope they can hold on. Tony needs to look at this and look for 1-0s every now and then. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Reading look at a shadow of the team from Ewood. Even Esteves having a stinker. Quote
windymiller7 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) What a mad league! Coventry now 3-1 up! Great strike for the 3rd but keeper made a hash of it really. Edited October 30, 2020 by windymiller7 Quote
windymiller7 Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Nervy ending, but finished 3-2. Reading looked a different side to that on show at Ewood on Tues Quote
chaddyrovers Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 It's crazy league with lots of twists and turns. Any team can beat anyone. Why people like the Championship so much. Good game tonight 2 Quote
philipl Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 So we demolish Coventry. Reading thrash us. Coventry handily beat Reading. Going to be one of those seasons. Quote
