An advantage with a FULLY fit Rovers squad ? Really hope this isn't a permanent change, but there's little doubt that this should benefit a side with our depth for this season. We're at our best too when we're playing and pressing at a high tempo, so hopefully this will help us maintain that with having just a few days between games. Quote
Dreams of 1995 Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Barnsley linked with.... Mario Balotelli. The world has gone mad Quote
roversfan99 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Another goalless and drab draw in the Championship tonight, we are the exceptions in the league this season with our goalscoring and our flimsy defence. Quote
Blue blood Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Rooney says he wants the Derby job. If he gets it I am pretty certain it would relegate them. 2 Quote

Yep, normally the leagues leading scorer is attached to a promotion chasing team....unless Mowbray is in charge with his bollox defensive structure. Shame, we are a Warnock/Hughton/Pearson away from promotion Quote

Saw some of the first half. Hard to credit they are in the same division as Watford/Bournemouth. Both Cities very poor and will get pummelled by a better side.... Quote

Mattyblue Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 They chose it for ‘Landlords vs Tenants’ novelty, not any other reason. 2 Quote
philipl Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Bournemouth v Reading at lunchtime. A big test for the visitors after their bad run before the break. Norwich v Boro also among the challengers. Quote

Looks like they are passing the test at the moment. Pity Mowbray couldn't get the same out of Joao and we might not have got relegated....... Quote
philipl Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 To say that Bournemouth could have gone top with a win they are remarkably low key. They seem to think because ref has given Reading a very early penalty, they can fall downb in the box and get one too. Lucky not to have any yellow cards for simulation when they could have had three. Reading worth their 2-0 lead and are really dangerous going forwards. Quote
only2garners Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 That’s turned round quickly - 2-2 now. Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Mm, when did we last come from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 ? Quote
philipl Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Cook and Brooks peerless in this second half for Bournemouth. That 18 year old right back for Reading who looked so good at Ewood all at sea for Bournemouth's first two goals. Quote
philipl Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Series of errors from Cabral the Reading keeper. 4-2 This is the start of a run of fixtures against top teams for Reading and it will take a lot of character to bounce back from this. Their subs don't look much use either. Quote
Darrenbot Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 4 defeats in a row for Reading since we made them look like 1970 Brazil team. What's the betting Preston's terrible home form turns round when we play them on Tuesday. 1 Quote

I think when people talked about our 'top 2 squad' they ignored the quality that teams like B'mouth, Norwich and Watford have. Edited November 21, 2020 by Hoochie Bloochie Mama 1 Quote
