jim mk2 Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Barnsley on a great run, like Reading a very limited side but pragmatic, well organised, with a good manager. Contrast with our passing/possession-obsessed manager and fragile, under-performing team 6 Quote

They have now plucked out two excellent left field appointments in succession. That's what makes me so depressed. Venkys haven't a clue how to structure a football club properly after they destroyed the structure under John Williams. Even Blackpool have turned the corner owner-wise. We may finish up worse than Notts County. 2 Quote
Popular Post JHRover Posted March 3, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2021 Barnsley a lower budget Brentford. Have managed to assemble an exciting positive side on a relative shoestring but most importantly have the ownership, plan and structure to cope with managerial and playing turnover. Sourcing Stendel, Struber and Ismael impressive recruitment that has worked each time. Imagine the chumps at Rovers doing similar. The Barnsley rise is awkward for Mowbray, Waggott and the Facebook morons. Having whinged about everything from time, resources, parachute money and a journey Barnsley are now showing us up on each front. He's had excuses galore for Watford, Norwich, Bournemouth being above us So what's the excuse for Barnsley Tony? 10 Quote

bazza Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Sounds like Wednesday were pushing for a winner and Rotherham broke away from a Wednesday corner and scored. Quote

JHRover Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Warnock staying at Middlesbrough for next season. He'll be knocking on for 74 by the time his contract ends. To think back in 2016 there were people saying we should avoid him because he was too old and would be retiring soon. 3 Quote
Rogerb Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Cardiff move quickly to give mick a two year contract extension beyond the end of this season. 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Let's hope Venkys don't get any ideas about giving out contract extensions.... 3 Quote

Wovers Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I’m all for giving Barnsley credit, lucky bastards though, if it wasn’t for Wigan’s points deductions they’d be in league one now. Quote

JHRover Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Anyone can beat anyone in the Championship is the usual excuse for inconsistency. That isn't applying to dinosaur Mick's Cardiff. Now unbeaten in 11 since taking over. 1 Quote

We cannot beat anyone in the top half, and can only beat teams in the bottom half with ten men. Everyone can beat us. Quote

Ewood Ace Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Gavin Ward causing carnage in the Swansea V Boro game with some abysmal refereeing. I've said it before but to me there looks to be a clear agenda from officials against Warnock. Quote
Ewood Ace Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Interesting comments from Warnock about Swansea, ref's and Steve Cooper's dad. I must say the thought has crossed my mind before. One thing is for certain Swansea get a lot of iffy decisions go their way. Quote
