If I went to a gym I wouldn't be going back. I'd be looking to get my exercise fix somewhere else. While the days are long I'd be cycling running walking or doing gym style exercises in the park or a field or garden. Outdoors is better anyway. Take up canoeing or rowing or whatever outdoors at a club near you

I go to a gym in Burnley (allow it, it’s cheap and near work). I’ll be heading back next week, tomorrow will be too busy, I think!

The old adage for gyms from before Covid still applies - walk, run or cycle to your gym. When you get to the front door turn round and walk, run or cycle home. Exercise done and lots of gym fees saved.

Will they be sanitising rowing machines, exercise bikes and other gym equipment following each individual use, similar to the procedures in the barbers?

My gym only lets a certain amount of people on the floor at a time, must book your time in advance. Glass screens up between equipment. Everyone provided with their own bottle of sanitiser to wipe down equipment.

Is it 100% effective? Probably not, but life has to carry on the best if can without a vaccine...

Is it exercise 4 less ?

Nah, DW right in town. It’s super cheap, but you can’t park anywhere outside, which is annoying though....

Ha you scoff, but they do offer one... tight Blackburner like me won’t pay it though!

I might be joining you. The staff at the DW gym I go to have just been told they are out of a job tomorrow as the gym is shutting. Feel for them, a days notice is just wrong.
