Very disappointing first half. Out played by an inferior side, when does it end.

Holtby very poor, Davenport, not impressed either. Buckley so out of position.

 Travis was shite

Bell sleeping as usual

Travis and Brereton looked pretty knackered today. Disappointing penalty from Brereton - a few bright moments but he looked more like pre-lockdown Ben than post-lockdown Ben.

Barely noticed Holtby and Buckley - not really convinced by either from that performance. Really want to see a lot more from both of them in creating chances or scoring goals.

Bell and Nyambe were okay - but for a side that should be battling for promotion I'm not convinced they are good enough. If we were able to bring a class LB and RB, with Bell and Nyambe adding depth, we would have a much stronger squad.

Of course, it's just a friendly against Fleetwood, so can't judge a whole lot from it.

Did not notice Holtby playing. Turned on the last 15 min.

He is, I've seen it. A far better footballer than BB will ever be. He just doesn't get the ball when he's stuck out wide. He needs to play central. It's not like Tony to get worst out of player by playing him out of position. ?

He has had chances in other roles and I haven't see it. What game did he play well in?

Is that the new lad from Preston with the assist?

Didn't need that long!

Charlton away, he was excellent, playing as a 10. Otherwise IMO he has been ineffective pretty much every time he has played/come on. And considering that he is behind a few in that role, I think he needs a loan.

Ya a season starting in League 1 would do him the world of good.

He tends to look neat and tidy and can clearly take the ball on the half turn, and is technically decent. But in fairness from not his favoured position, he struggles to influence and impact upon games.

Cliche. He's good enough for the Championship IF played in the right position. What roles have you seen him in, you didn't say?

Does he get in or even near the team in a number 10 role, considering our other players in that area?

I'd play him in a 3 man midfield, a bit more advanced than the other two. He's technically very good, can spot a pass and can take the ball on the half turn.

I think it's more than that. Not physically up to it at the minute. Can understand why he doesn't play centrally more regularly. We have better options there for competitive games.
