Not suggesting we shouldn't have a third kit, it's a must. Just suggesting (tongue in cheek partly, but we do seem to end up actually wearing the third kit more than necessary) that we put blue on the second kit to maximise the profile of the third. Quote
Admiral Nelsen Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I don't hate completely hate it, but the frustrating thing is that if they just left it to be red with blue trim it would've looked great. Fortunately the home one is the best one in a while. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 It's very different I guess. But we wont be wearing in away kits in away games at Bristol City, Boro, Rotherham, Brentford, Stoke, Barnsley, Bournmouth, Forest as their home kit contain Red. Will need 3rd kit for games at Brentford Rotherham, Stoke and Boro for examples Would have preferred a away shirt you could wear in majority of 23 away games like Yellow and black stripes/ halfs or purple and black stripes/halfs. Why would we need a third kit? We've played in Blue & White at all of the clubs you mention in the past without any problems. All it needs is a pair of blue or black shorts. 3 Quote
perthblue02 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 New away shirt is meh, bit of a 90's vibe to it , probably look better with shorts and socks. Saw a good looking shirt the other day in the park , turned out to be FC Tokyo 2017 home kit, would look great as a red and black away kit for Rovers. This is it . No sure the same template would go down well as a home version but it would be different, at least the (almost) halves are reversed on the back 1 Quote

Dreams of 1995 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I quite like it but I was yearning for a red and black striped kit I won’t lie. I thought this years kit had a resemblance of that 95 kit and genuinely thought we might see a similar away kit. Would have definitely bought a red and black collared away top this year. As it happens I’ll probably buy the home shirt, but may pass on this depending on pricing. Not a bad effort though, and not as terrible as being made out by some...but fashion taste is subjective after all. 1 Quote

Brentford and Stoke play in red and White stripes so what kit are we going to wear there? Boro and Rotherham shirt has red and white on their shirt. Why we should gone for away shirt colour that why clash much with a third of the league Quote
den9112 Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 I don't dislike it i just think it's a lazy design...You could put any badge on it beeing football or rugby and it could be any team .Its just not distinctive enough for me .. 1 Quote

There is no reason for a third strip. 1 Quote
Ewood Ace Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 It's certainly a vast improvement on last seasons eyesore. 1 Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 It's bloody awful. It's like a dodgy 90s Scotland away kit, or some League 2 team's kit when the designer goes a bit experimental. Quote
