The State of Ewood Park!

One of the reporters who covered the Swans game at the weekend made a comment on how Ewood Park is the only ground in the top 2 divisions where there's no food provided for the press - and even in league 2 you get biscuits! Not a huge thing in the scheme of things but a bit embarrassing and an indicator of how far the cost cutting has gone.

more a case of just not being very hospitable or pleasant than cost cutting,it can`t be budget sapping to provide a few pies and sandwiches to the press, the club is run by not very nice individuals

Yep. More than anything it just shows that these people are nothing other than complete pieces of shit.

Ewood sadly looking grotty again this morning.

The last half-arsed attempt at a power wash nowhere near good enough.

having been around a few grounds this year, they all appear a bit neglected and dirty, the mkm at hull last week looked in need of a power wash.so did deepdale earlier in the season

Just watching some videos of the new Everton Stadium Test event that happened last night, just a stunning Build and Facilities. And to think Ewood was a state of the art Stadium some 30 years ago..we are now Miles behind.

Once again...we cant even keep ours clean.😕

Who does their maintenance? I work for a grounds maintenance/landscaping company. I've often looked and thought that I could do a better job. Loads of things need doing.

Even the Plymouth co-commentator commented on how much the stadium looks in need of a good clean.

It's embarrassing.

Nothing wrong with Ewood Park from a facilities standpoint. It has charm too unlike most of these modern stadiums.

Just look at Spurs' stadium - cost them a billion and it's alright. Lots of it is just a fad (brewing their own beer in the basement / the beer cups filling from underneath etc).

The worst thing about it all? It just needs a blast with a jet wash.

Needs more than that I'm afraid, needs a full spray off, moss rolling, jet washing, repaint, brick wash n revive.

So what's the problem? The owners never refuse to sign a cheque.....

Even in its current state, Ewood is probably in better nick than Goodison, its been falling to bits for years.

suhail is just the indian puppet, waggot is supposed to be the ceo, responsible for running the club (or running it into the ground!!)

This is the man who controls the money, I’m led to believe. If he says there’s no money to clean up the stadium, it doesn’t get done.
