You can tell he's a converted midfielder. If you didn't know any better, off today's game. You could be forgiven for thinking Wharton was our steadfast centre half and Lenihan the perennial loanee. 1 Quote
CambridgeRover Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Brereton just missed an open goal. I cant believe how badly he took the shot. Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Just about to say Ben looked the best of the forwards.... But he's just done a Brereton. Quote

One starter and one sub at CB. Defenders are coming. They have been for 2 years so must arrive shortly. 2 Quote

But silence from one of the worst misses I have seen all year. Imagine in we weren't ahead and he did that Quote
davulsukur Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Guess who's back.......back again......BB's back, tell a friend. Guess who's back Guess who's back Guess who's back 2 Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 First time I've seen Dolan and I was concerned about his size when he first came on, thinking he'd be flighty. Don't think I've seen him knocked off the ball bar two obvious fouls. Intelligent with his body. Quote

Popular Post CambridgeRover Posted August 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2020 (edited) To be fair, Ben looks 10 times the player he was last season. Just a shame about that chance Edited August 29, 2020 by CambridgeRover 10 Quote

But he's just done a Brereton. Yeah he's had his best ever competitive game for Rovers I think. But it's been a performance of a winger not really a striker. So odd to have a 6ft+ striker who seems to want to be a winger - always starting wide and running at players with ball at feet. And hates all the classic centre forward play - ie. getting in the box, heading it, playing back to goal etc (before people say "Mowbray made him like that" as far as I can tell he was like that at Forest too). But he has been at his best so far today. Edited August 29, 2020 by joey_big_nose 2 Quote
SBlue Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Been man of the match for me has Big Ben. Then goes and misses an open goal. Dolan is the player Chapman dreams he is, very exciting. 3 Quote
Doaksie Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Sounds like a bad one for Walton. Feel for him. Just imagine we'd paid to sign him and that happened at Ewood today.... ? 1 Quote

Both seem more comfortable coming in from the wing. Quote
WacoRover Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 (edited) Can’t wait to hear what everybody thinks of Fisher today. YES!!! There it is Edited August 29, 2020 by WacoRover Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 What's wrong with Armstrong? He looks in a right mood - and did at the end of last season too. Quote
BlackburnEnd75 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Dolan might play himself into the 11 come the first league game. He's quick and hungry and looks like he has good technique. Not particularly sure why PNE let him go... 4 Quote

Think that’s just his face. Fisher will be fine for No. 2 Wharton fine for 3rd choice. Bell fine for club shop shelf stacker. 6 Quote
