Hoochie Bloochie Mama Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 They are a special lot at PNE online. Absolutely besides themselves that Dolan ahs left for bigger and better things. He loves the Rovers does Dolan. 1 Quote

There was some talk during lockdown that no funding had been made available to keep any youth teamers on, except for Ethan Walker who'd already signed a pro contract some time ago. We're also yet to make a single addition to the squad, despite having the worst strike force bar Hull last season. What is the situation with your season tickets regarding prices and current sales? Dreams of 1995 Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 PNE best midfield in the league? ?? How are they doing that without Travis and Dolan in it? ? 2 Quote

I know it gets quiet on transfer front here from time to time but we've never got to the point were we are reduced to discussing who wore what number of shirt 60 years ago. 1 Quote

Before it was, meh, its just the plastics winding us up, he ain't that good and wouldn't get on our bench let alone our side. Now pundits are praising him, it is making them look a little silly. only2garners Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Well there's one thing North End fans are ahead of us on - talking rubbish on a Summer Transfer thread. They're almost on 600 pages. 5 Quote
Feed the Yak Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Looking forward to seeing this lad play every game, shame it's only via the telly but what a talent! 1 Quote
bluebruce Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 Think it says a lot that Armstrong signed 2 years ago for the first team for 1.7 million rising to 3 million, has done great for us and has 14 goals since January, and he has 11 pages on his thread. Dolan signed about 2 months ago for nowt, for the u23s and has 5 pages already. Quote
alex l Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 The big test for Dolan will be how he copes as each match passes and he becomes a known threat. Hopefully his speed and range of tricks does not become readable; it was noticeable against Bournemouth how after his first five or so mins they handled him much better than Wycombe did at any point. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 come on tyrese, bang in the winner against pne at sheepdale and you`ll be a ******* hero ? 1 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 pne fans have an unhealthy hatred for us,for some reason,i don`t consider them a rival tbh,i don`t have the dislike for them that i have for bolton, burnley or oldham, they`ve suffered 50 years of misery so in a way i feel a bit sorry for them 1 Quote
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 I go back to 1968 and I can’t recall a more exciting teen league debut than this. Not just the goal, the penalty and the tricks, but the hunger for and care of the ball - best pass completion rate on the pitch! 4 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted September 20, 2020 Posted September 20, 2020 The only youth players I can think of as having as good a start to their Rovers career are Phil Jones and Damien Duff. So he's in pretty good company. 3 Quote
Butty Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 And I just can’t seem to get enough of du du du du du du du Tyrhys Dolan! 2 Quote

Travis, Buckley, Dolan, Nyambe all look like they could one day play at the top level. I'm interested to see more of Butterworth, Vale, Davenport and Wharton also. When they have played none of those 4 have looked out of place but they have very few minutes. 2 Quote
