Stuart Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Is Brereton’s middle name Corrado? 1 Quote

chaddyrovers Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 We had enough chances to win the games. Dont take them dont win. Played well and kept the ball well. But finishing simple not good enough. 2 Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 We played very, very well. 6 Quote

Ricky Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Why is the keeper not up for that corner. 10 seconds left and we don’t push the 6ft 4 keeper up! 2 Quote
garnersfags Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Good overall performance, truly embarassing in front of goal. Brereton is a lotcof things, but a goalscorer he is not. Shame we've chosen not to buy a defender, could have been another good season. Quote
Stuart Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 A night to forget. We are missing a striker. Quote

Guess we're just picking up on difference aspects of the play. Agreed there. Atkins praised him for second half performance 1 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Disappointing, but we were all over them for most of the game. If we play like that against most Championship teams we end up in the playoffs, let alone with defensive reinforcements. 5 Quote

Cherry Blue Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 To sum up, we were crap. Hope BB gets a boll##king for not taking his chances. We are lacking quality throughout. Quote

Butty Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Encouraging performance, we bossed the play and the ball but couldn’t do much with it or really create any golden chances. Not a bad performance though overall. 4 Quote
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Absolute torture. The worst way to lose. Dominated but never looked like scoring. Hated every second. It’s great to watch but not effective. Against a packed defence we’re not good enough. Newcastle were terrible. 3 Quote

We can create as many chances as we like but in Ben Brereton, we have one of the worst finishers in the championship. 3 Quote
Torgeir Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Wow, how did we not win that? You'd think we were the PL side of the two teams looking at that match. A little bit too much through the middle at times, but we kept trying and deserved much more. But when facing PL quality in the final third, we need to take better care of our chances. 2 Quote
mustard Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Brereton doesn’t take a touch with the chance at the end and snatches at it as it comes down and he’d get pelters, takes a touch and a great intercepting tackle stops him in his tracks, gets pelters. I thought he played well second half, but I’m not watching him with the scrutinising eyes wishing him not to do well. Anyone see Arma do anything since he came on? Or does commenting on that not fit in with people’s biases? 5 Quote

Roverinbelfast Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Played very very well. Some real good performances. Travis was superb, dolan looked lively. Holtby was very good. Bell was decent as well. John Buckley was superb when he came on. Now back to the bread and butter and put wycome to the sword on Saturday. 5 Quote

Well, called the first part right, hopefully wrong about the second part...Holtby certainly looked dead on his feet though. Quote
islander200 Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Hope we don't send Buckley out on loan just looks quality. What's Mowbray's plan with Davenport. He would have been better off playing fir the under 23s. 2 Quote
Ewood Ace Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 Newcastle were very comfortable and never even needed to get out of first gear. We are too easy to play against, we pass the ball around nicely but don't really look like troubling the opposition who can just sit back soak it up and then hit our shambolic back line on the counter. 1 Quote
