Bell had an excellent half.

Dolan was kept under control by Cardiff for 30 minutes then broke free.

Several sliced balls from the back out of play to the left by Kaminsky and Williams.

Brereton quiet but struck that shot saved by Smithies with real intent at the end.

Keep it tight at the back and something will break for us eventually up front.

He's an instinctive player. Whenever he has to think he falls to pieces.

It's why he's a L1 wide player and why he misses 1-on-1s with such regularity.

He’s scored 5 league goals already this season. Can’t ask for much more than that from a striker surely?

Solid half with both sides having their moments. We definitely looked the better side come the end of the half. Dolan growing into the game, Kaminski keeping us in it with a great first half performance, Ayala has been okay nothing more or less so far, Williams has been brilliant.

Keep going the way we ended the half and we can win this, fancy cunningham to see red.

I'm sure he's scored the most goals in the four divisions in the last 8 months or something...all playing up front in the Championship. Your post is therefore wide of the mark.

He's scored most of those goals playing as a #9. [insert snide remark here, as that seems to be the norm on here]

Back to reality. Shoulda known!

Where did the devastating attacking force go?

Rothwell can be infuriating. Holtby fairly ineffective. Not much magic from Dolan. Armstrong offside again and missed a great chance. Brereton disappointing.

Typical, adverts on follow clear as a bell, match unwatchable.

Been fine here.

Watching highlights, why do our players always seem to shoot middle of the goal.  Do we not have the confidence, ability to go for the side or corner and therefore not right down the keepers throat.  Come on Rovers, goal from Cardiff first wins it

Exactly....yet you called him a L1 wide player.

I'm struggling to see why you're not comprehending this.

As a #9 he's very good in this division. It plays to his strengths as a footballer. He has scored most of his goals for us playing centrally.

If you ask him to play wider - either in the current 4-3-3 or in the 4-2-3-1 we played last year he's a poor player at this level.

I thought Brereton had a good half, different view I guess.  The Cardiff set up is intended to stifle Rovers and it's ended u[p with the strikers needing to work with scraps.  Rothwell needs to be more varied, he's great when he is attacking players but he just has to 'beat' another man .......

Bell was excellent. Typically slow of mind going forward but more importantly, has been a key player in setting up Cardiff attacks with sloppy passes.

That's not what you said originally. I've quoted you above in another post as you seems to have forgotten already.
