superniko Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I can’t believe we’ve done nothing to threaten Cunningham since his yellow card. 1 Quote

Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Our final ball all game has been garbage 1 Quote
AdamRochina Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Really poor performance today. Shame. Would of been Great to see us into the international break after playing really well in the last three games Quote
unleaded Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Gallagher only looks good on the bench ! Awful player .... Quote
bluebruce Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 We could play all night and not score here. Cardiff too well drilled, ourselves lacking enough imagination to break through it. 1 Quote

garnersfags Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Just now, bluebruce said: I know fans love to exaggerate but that's not true. He drew their guy into getting sent off after winning the ball and bursting away. He had a lovely control and pass in the middle of the park on a break away earlier. He is, however, underwhelming overall, especially out wide, and the miss will be costly. I think this is accurate. I suppose the frustration is that he is a million pound player but we paid a lot more when no-one except the Rovers' management team had seen any evidence that he can score regularly at this level. Mowbray now forced to play him after such a large investment. We are always more effective when he is injured. COYB!!!!!!! 1 Quote
SBlue Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Tough game. Tough conditions. We never really got going. Part of me thinks we would have contrived to lose that one last year. Frustrating and things to work on. Will take the point I suppose ? 3 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Close, not but close enough. Arma's looked a lot more dangerous ok the wing, as he often does. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted October 3, 2020 Backroom Posted October 3, 2020 I'm not that angry about the result as conditions were poor and we at least kept a clean sheet... but it feels like Mowbray instantly lost a chunk of recently built up goodwill by bringing Gallagher out onto the right flank again. Is he even worth £500k now, let alone £5m? 7 points from 9 not a bad return just before the international break hits, but worrying signs today of normal service resuming. Cardiff going down to 10 was probably the worst thing that could have happened as it put the emphasis on us to attack and unlock them... and without Dack that's something we still seem unable to do. AdamRochina Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Not going to make play offs under mowbray. He's boring and the fact he still wants to play gallagher out wide is just embarrassing.. poor from us today Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Disappointed with that, the better teams take advantage of the 10 men and Conjur up a late winner 1 Quote
Cherry Blue Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Like someone said if it wasn't raining .......... but there's going to be more bad weather days. At least no goals against us. 1 Quote
Mr. E Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 And just like that out of nowhere we revert to the absolutely worst finishing from everyone involved imaginable. Chance after chance and absolutely no clue how to take a good shot. Pub level finishing. Massively disappointed but it comes down to the manager failing to keep the team consistent and motivated enough. Quote

garnersfags Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 (edited) Hope we don't react too negatively to this disappointing result. If we continue with this decent start to the season, we will be ok. Time for criticism is November, not now. Today has reminded us that squad & manager are a decent championship standard, with a chance of 5th or 6th place, rather than dreaming of leading the division a xmas, which is what I've been fantasising about all week. Keep the faith, boys n girls.... Edited October 3, 2020 by garnersfags 3 Quote

Cardiff never threatened. Not ideal, but I'll take a point in those conditions. 3 Quote
skous18 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 I am surprised none of our players fell asleep on the pitch after Cardiff got their player sent off Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 3, 2020 Backroom Posted October 3, 2020 I think the winner today is me for not wasting a tenner on that! It’s not a loss at least Quote
TheBigSmooth Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 (edited) Gallagher = Rubbish. Why take off one of our most imaginative players to bring on one of our least. Sometimes feels like Sunday league, games for the lads who turn up. Edited October 3, 2020 by TheBigSmooth Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Rothwell's shooting is sooo poor, it's always weak and always trying to place the ball into the net. 1 Quote
