yellowsubmarine Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Poor poor game from Johnson today. After such a great September, bam, he's back to his worst. Quote

jim mk2 Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Loads of new players but will they make a difference with old Tony at the helm?? Very unlikely 5 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Back to earth with a bump. Really wish we got a late winner just once , always against us 1 Quote
Neal Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 If I never see Sam Gallagher again it will be too soon... F*cking w*nk!!! Stealing a living. 3 Quote
Torgeir Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Player of last month..... Need to pick up points in these sort of games, can't afford to lose all three points. Not the strongest squad today so we'll come back better. Quote
Fraserkirky Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Will be basically a brand new front 6 very shortly 2 Quote
tomphil Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Rubbish today typical after international break fare from Rovers. Do they spend it on the lash every time or something ? He's put them firmly back in their box after the early season excitement. I hope the thumb screws get turned on him a bit these season with the backing he's had the last few years. Quote
Ruaney Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 We didn’t have a chance to win this game when Mowbray decided to choose an Evans, Johnson and Buckley midfield 3 and chose to play hoof ball from the off. awful all round 1 Quote

We were never going to create loads of chances with both Evans and Johnson poor and Buckley didn't take his chance and was poor 3 Quote
Trinidad Rover Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 (edited) Well that was crap. Not much else to say. Move onto the next with our better players back. Edited October 17, 2020 by Trinidad Rover 1 Quote
jim mk2 Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Twas written in the stars. Loads of optimism with all the new signings but Rovers revert to type and put the dampeners on Quote
booth Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Only going one way with that team selection, and club only going one way when signing donkeys like Brereton and Gallagher and persisting with league 1 players like Evans and Bell. Besides Ayala, Kaminski and Nyambe, they should be utterly ashamed with that performance. Mowbray should be leading the walk of shame. Quote
superniko Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 If we’ve learnt anything from the Cardiff and Forest matches, it’s that Bradley Dack is the 1st name on our team sheet. Everything else that needs to be said, has been said many times before... - Sam Gallagher was woeful, 2nd to everything. - Bradley Johnson was a ghost, too inconsistent to be a regular for me, especially when Travis is back fit. - Ayala was our best player. No positives to take, yes we had no Holtby or Rothwell but Tony has to get better performances out of them than this. 1 Quote
dallydally Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Can't break sides down when they defend in numbers. Very poor today. Back to the drawing board. Let's hope the new players really add something Quote
Miker Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Absolutely disgusted by that. 0-0 and it's a decent result at a time when several of our best players are missing. 0-1 and it feels like major regression. Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Completely undeserved, but that's football for you. Also I can see why Hughton struggles to get jobs, despite being successful. Turgid football. 1 Quote

Cherry Blue Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 So what's the story behind Rothwell & Williams? And should Holtby be allowed to go on leave? Three players that would have featured today. Quote

yellowsubmarine Posted October 17, 2020 Posted October 17, 2020 Mowbray needs to learn how to break a team down. For all his years of experience, he has zero clue what to do. 1 Quote

He keeps those two in the team they'll win f*** all. Due to the money involved we won't get rid of those two till Mowbray goes. Quote
